LORAC TANtalizer Should Tantalize Paler Pretties and Sweeties With Medium Skin Tones

If you and your brushes like having lots of room to play in, it’s time to get tantalized. 🙂 This over-sized TANtalizer pan from LORAC ($32) is downright HUGE!

It combines a bronzer and highlighter in one gargantuan compact, which I went a little overboard with the first time I used, swiping my brush back and forth, back and forth, whee!

I assumed I was picking up too much product, based on how pigmented the shimmery champagne pink highlighter and warm matte brown bronzer look in the pan, but when I swept the highlighter along my upper cheekbones and along my jawline, what I saw was a nice surprise.

Both products looked quite sheer on my tan. In fact, I had to layer them up to be able to see them at all.

On the one hand, I like the control that gives me over their application and that I can wear this duo super sheer or built up in layers, but I think I’d prefer a little more pigment, particularly in the bronzer…

Paler pretties and sweeties with medium skin tones, you should have better luck being TANtalized here. 🙂

PRICE: $32

Happy Tuesday (and a yet another cat lady moment)

One struck the other day while I was at Target perusing the Valentine’s Day candy section and spotted this adorable work of art…

You know you’re a cat lady when you buy a $2 roll of stickers just because it features a kitty who kindasorta looks like someone you know, haha!

Also, what’s the deal with holiday candy portions at Target lately? It’s getting tough to find single boxes or bags of anything anymore. All I wanted was one small box of those valentine’s heart candies with the little sayings on ’em, but all of the packages were 16 ounces and up!

Yeah… I’m beginning to feel like the universe (or is it just Target?) is conspiring against me to eat more sugar.

My sweet tooth thinks I should comply.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

You can get them in the back where they sell all the seasonal stuff! I found them on a shelf with the packs of Valentine’s Day cards. 🙂 Hope you can find them.

Did you collect stickers when you were a kid? I wish could find my sticker album… I have no idea what happend to it.

Re: the bronzer. If you get very tan then this might not be for you. Have you tried NARS Laguna?

I prefer subtle bronzer in winter (just to bring a bit of color back to my face after it’s been flattened a little by foundation and finishing powder), so this might be my thing! At the moment I like Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess soft matte bronzer for the job, but once it’s gone (I have a GWP-size so it shouldn’t take forever) this one looks pretty user-friendly with a highlighter right next to it!

The stickers are cute, and I spotted the Tabs wannabee straight away!

PS: I do think American stuff tends to come in HUGE quantity, which is not necessarily a bad thing 🙂

I think I remember that bronzer. All of the EL Bronze Goddess stuff is so much fun!

I totally do the same thing, btw — that sweep of bronzer totally adds life!

I rarely wear bronzer (I’m very pale, and I like it that way) but this looks pretty nice.

This is really nice! Im extremely pale and after a good bronzer and blusher. I have tried many, but drugstore bronzers always seem to be shimmery!

    That compact is ridiculously huge!

I agree about the candy portions. I try to keep my sweet tooth under control but when candy’s only available in 10lb bags, it’s kind of hard. 🙂

That sure is a big compact but I do like the fact that there’s more room for my brush instead of trying to fit it into a small pan. Especially when you’re down to the rims of the product!

I normally use MAC’s Harmony blush to contour, but would you say that this is more blendable? I can’t help but sometimes feel like Elvis except with brown sideburns when I use the blush. LOL Don’t get me wrong, I try my best to blend as much as I can, but in the back of my mind I worry I’ma gonna walk out looking like the king of rock and roll. hahaha
