Okay, my boss walked in on me the other day when I was using the restroom.
Yup! I thought I was the only one in the office, so I guess I neglected to make sure the door was completely shut. So there I was, ya know, sitting down…concentrating. You know. And then I hear this scratching sound coming from the other side of the door.
Couple seconds later, the door pushes open a few inches and you-know-who pokes his little head in with an expression like, “Oh, hai!”
I’m completely mortified. My eyes must have doubled in size, and I’m too aghast to speak.
So in strolls Tabs, doopdadoo, and he has a seat on the floor directly in front of me, watching me like I’m reality television.
“Uh…” I say. “Private party here. You’re not invited.”
Apparently, my petting performance and/or gravy preparation that morning was subpar, and he wanted to get my attention.
Mission. Accomplished.
LOL! 🙂 Word to the wise: If you rent a room from your feline employer, make sure you always close the bathroom door.

Who is Tabs the Cat? About three years ago I befriended a stray, flea-bitten tabby cat with a bad case of worms. I could see he’d fallen on hard times, but his profound knowledge of high fashion and department store cosmetics led me to believe that he was more than meets the eye. We became fast friends, and now he’s actually my boss (and a successful kitty model). 🙂

My daphne is forever curious about the goings on in my bathroom. She pushes her way in the door and rubs up against my legs like “oh hello, whatcha doin’??” and I’m like “um, awkward!!” Especially when she was a kitten, she would follow me around a lot, she’d follow me into the bathroom all the time, lol
I can’t remember the last time we have used the bathroom in private. The girls push their way in or shove their paws under the door until we open it. Then they do the “I want in, I want out” thing about 5 times at the door. They have zero respect for privacy 🙂

I have very little privacy in the house (seems like this happens to all cat owners lol). My cats line up on top of the washing machine to watch me take my shower. It’s really weird, but by now they have developed this sixth sense of when I’ll be doing it, and they take their seats accordingly. I guess they’re worried they’d miss a good party, but when I try to bathe them it’s a totally different story lol
I haven’t been in the bathroom alone since 1991. First there were the kids, always getting into things if I didn’t keep them with me, even during very private times. Then came the kitties. 2 of them push and claw their way into the loo to see the show. Only one of my cats isn’t interested. They also accompany me in the bathroom while I shower.

My cat is always so weird about that too! The door to my bathroom doesn’t latch all the way so Buddy takes it as an invitation for attention every morning. Glad I’m not the only one haha
My cat vince has to come in when im using the bathroom,when im in the bath he will either sit on he floor,or perch on the edge and play with the bubbles.
When im on the toilet sometimes he will jump up and sit down on me.
That’s so cute that he loves bubbles! 🙂 Does he ever try to jump in?
No he doesnt luckily.Although he almost has a few times.
He is a wonderful cat im totally a ccl lol.
