MAC Unsung Heroes: Loud & Lovely Cremesheen Glass

April 28th, 2012 by Karen 7 Comments

MAC loud & lovely

Okay, so maybe you’re lovin’ MAC Right Image Cremesheen Glass, but you feel ready to level up in pink with something a little more intense. If you’re ready to step up your pink game, level up with creamy blue-based MAC Cremesheen Glass in Loud & Lovely ($19.50).

Say “Hello, spring!” What I love most about this shade is its flexibility. I can quickly swipe it on for a light hot pink flush, or layer it on a bit thicker for a more intense hit of pink.

Additional makeup worn in this look — on my eyes: Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadows in 30E (a pearly pink beige) and 4E (a matte taupe gray) and Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash; on my cheeks: MAC Blush in Breezy

NOTE: This is a shimmer free shade, so depending on your perspective on glitter, that could be a good or bad thing. For me, in this case, I like the lack of glitter, because some thin, glittery glosses tend to migrate beyond the edges of my lips (because I rub mine together a lot). That’s where Loud & Lovely really fits.

And if you feel more disco, you could opt for Loud & Lovely’s glittery cousin instead, MAC Pink Poodle Lipglass. It’s a similar blueish pink, but it packs more pigment and shimmers with silver glitter.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Yess this looks like something I can proudly rock! I just got a nice US blogger to get me Girl About Town lipglass (it’s not sold in Europe), and I think it’s in a similar vein but much louder! Looks like I’m getting a bit braver!

Ooh, I love the look of this! I rub my lips together a lot, too, so shimmer-free shades are the ones I tend to reach for.

A girl can’t have too many blue-pink glosses, right? 😉
