Filling in Your Eyebrows

January 2nd, 2009 by Karen 25 Comments

Heya, ladies! Just another quickie video, this one on filling in eyebrows. I’m going to try and do a new video every few days. I think in this one I start off by saying “Having well defrined eyebrows…” Defrined… I invented a new word, LOL!

Do you have you any plans tonight? Right now I’m foolin’ around with some Eco Tools cruelty free brushes. My GAWD the brush heads are soft!

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

My eyebrows have not been the same since I had Grace – they are super thin now and I can’t (won’t) leave the house without at least filling them in first.

Oh, and I constantly make up new words… my favorite is buthered – a mix of bugged and bothered.

Cute vid Karen! I liked the tip about using the second brush to soften the look. I’m going to try it in the a.m.

I just discovered Eco Tools and picked up the large powder blush last week. I luv it! So soft!! And I got it from Walgreens so it was super economical.

    Stay pretty!

Wonderful video, once I finally get around to tweezing my brows [bangs make me lazy] I will definitely try to get filing in my brows into the daily routine.

How are the Eco tools brushes btw? Are they as good as the Sonia Kashuk brushes from Target?

    Hey Karen!

How do you like the Eco Tools brushes? I keep looking at them and thinking I should pick some up, but I haven’t found testers anywhere and I’m pretty happy with my current brushes. But, I’m a whore for really soft brushes.

Nice tutorial! I’m super lazy about my brows, but someday I’d like to figure out how to make them look a little nicer.

I’ve heard so many good things about the EcoTools brushes, you should write about them sometime 🙂

Great tutorial, using my favourite brush, yay! =)

    Take care!

Hey Karen! Great video and tut!! Believe it or not – I’ve been a makeup addict for years but JUST starting filling in my brows about 6 months ago. I know…ridonculous. Your tut is great though. I’m definitely going to try your technique.

I love your voice!! It doesn’t sound like I thought it would…not that I thought it would sound bad, just different. I think I thought it would be deeper or something. Probably because you remind me of someone I know and her voice is a little deeper. Anyway – keep the videos coming!

Great video Karen! I have been using MAC’s Omega eyeshadow (and their 266 brush) for probably 10-12 years now to fill in my brows and it’s absolutely the BEST color on earth for blondes. So natural and perfect looking. 🙂

    Hi Stephie,

They’re pretty nice! The heads are super soft… I wish the concealer brush smaller and denser, though!

Do you have any Sonia Kashuk brushes?

    Hi Jen,

So far I like them. The brush heads are surprisingly soft for drugstore brushes!

LOL, defrined. 🙂 I’m glad that you’ve discovered the world of brows! Have you tried any other brow products like gels or pencils?

    Hi Vampy Varnish,

I’ve heard many blonde beauties gush on and on about Omega!

Seriously… I’d probably cry if I couldn’t have my Concrete and the 266. 🙂 We’ve been together for six years. *sniffs*

That was a really great video Karen. You’re a real natural clear and concise speaker (most people um or ah or act awkward). Hope you do some more.

I’m mourning the loss of my 266, I took it in my car and can’t find it now 🙁 I’ve been using the thicker 266SE but it’s just not the same.
