“Mrrrrow…” Tabs grumbled to himself. His nemesis, the blue kitty from the house down the hill, was already there, reaching up for what looked like the last box of Caudalie fur cream.
Blast! Tabs had been waiting for this day for weeks, the first annual Bring Your Cat to Sephora Day, and he’d planned to get to the store early, hopefully beating the other cats to the best stuff.
The details were all supposed to have been taken care of. His assistant got him up early and prepped his morning gravy, but the special fur and makeup team he’d hired for the occasion were held up in traffic on the 101.
Unbelievable. The Navy Seals of the feline fur and makeup worlds, and they get waylaid by a little traffic? It’s called problem solving, people!
Cats were everywhere in the store, snatching up all the best products. “Mrow!” Briefly, Tabs considered using brute force to wrest the box of Caudalie cream from the blue kitty’s paws, but with so many witnesses around…
Oh, well, Tabs thought to himself, there’s always next year.
Good morning, glory! 🙂 Hope your weekend got off to a great start. No complaints out here. I ended up not going to that party in the city last night. 11 p.m. was just too late for me, so I just watched some TV until I passed out.
This is random, but I just had the most amazing meyer lemon croissant. Perfectly flaky, buttery layers, and the lemony parts weren’t too sweet or heavy. It was like eating a fluffy, buttery, lemony pastry cloud…

I just went to Sephora on Monday – my birthday!! 😀 I got the NARS Vent Glace duo, High Society trio, a little Tokidoki palette, and then got my bday gift and 100 point gift!! 😀 I still need the rest of the NARS fall collection – the lip products are amazing!

At the moment, my favorite eyeshadow combination is a layer of Sephora’s “ENGAGEMENT RING” eyeshadow with MAC’s “REFLECTS BRONZE” glitter pigments on top.

Tango is not an outdoor cat at all, but he enjoys taking a walk with me. By that I mean I hold him like a baby and walk a couple of blocks (usually in autumn when the weather’s nice and cool) so that he can look around. Last time we did this he met the neighborhood black-and-white kitty! That one usually doesn’t let strangers get close, but I walked up to him with Tango and they sort of avoided eye contact… which I guess is better than trying to claw each other’s eyes out!
Whenever I need to think I head to the lake. The rhythm of the water calms me down and clears my head.
Loving Sephora online. Much easier to find the things that I like! Saw the Chicago air and water show… nice!!! If you get a chance, go see it!

I can’t remember the last time I went to Sephora. I keep avoiding it to help stave off the temptation to spend money. I think it must have been around my birthday in early June when I was spending money under the “it’s a birthday present to myself” guise.
If I had $50 to spend at Sephora… I’d get an eyeshadow palette! Or a fabulous serum! Or perfume, or brush set… OK, this is hard to decide.
I have a big, beautiful Siamese cat but he’s not very nice. I won’t take him ANYWHERE. I was mortified by his behavior when I took him to the vet several years ago. The vet and the technicians had to put on those padded things to protect their arms – the ones used to train attack dogs. They said the next time I brought him in he might need to be sedated. Umm, I needed sedation after that. Now I make my husband bring him!

I was in Sephora on Friday picking up some much needed primer.
The last time I went to Sephora was for the Nails Inc. Sprinkles collection, the blue shade is incredible. I also ended up picking up one of the pantone nail polishes in Evergreen, it’s an incredibly subtle duo chrome and I love it! Next time I’m heading over there to pick up MUFE’s green color correcting primer because I have mild rosacea and I’m tired of never getting to wear blush. 🙁

Last time I went to Sephora was last year in Paris. I spent almost 400 euros in makeup products over 6 months (mostly at Sephora and MAC) but wait: I was entirely new to the world of makeup, became an addict in a just few months, and needed to build my personal kit from the ground up and for the next 5 years at least (no Sephora were I live!). So yesssss, I’m in urgent need of some Sephora refill, please please Karen 😉

My last visit to Sephora was about a month ago and it was quite memorable because one of the wandering employees was wearing butterfly eyelashes. I’ve always wondered who and where would someone wear that type of false eyelash and now I know.

I was just in Sephora a couple of days ago. I was wandering around like an idiot. It was packed and hot and I didn’t have anything particular I needed. I just started putting stuff in my basket and looking for things to buy (I had a bad week at work). Then I stopped in the middle of the store and looked in my basket and set it down and walked out! I went to Sephora right before I moved back home! I couldn’t resist its siren’s call and I ended up getting two Tarte products.
I used to take my cat to the “office” when I was a grad student. It started when he was a kitten and I didn’t want to leave him at home all day, but I kept bringing him until he was about a year old. Everybody liked having him as the “lab” cat.
My sister and I went to Sephora on Friday and spent about an hour trying new things and playing with makeup. It’s one of our favorite things to do when we go shopping together.
I am in desperate need of a new foundation! My skin has been a nightmare recently and nothing seems to be working! I have dealt with acne and I also have rosacea 🙁 I have been getting IPL treatments done but haven’t been able to have one since June due to being in a different province than the clinic I go to. I’m lucky though, because a friend of mine is the technician so she fits me in and doesn’t charge the whole lofty $300 fee per treatment!

The last time I went to Sephora was January to pick up my birthday gift of the Fresh lip treatments. Obviously I’ve gone way too long without a trip there. I need to remedy that.
I have no cats – or any other pets, so there isn`t any issue with bringing cats to a workplace! I haven`t been to their store in ages – I mainly browse online for what I like.
My favourite summer dress is a bright floral print, strapless, and a-line mini dress. LOVE IT.
When I need to think, I usually go into my room, put my headphones, and listen to music. I would work for Makeup Forever – a brand that accommodates all skin tones well, OR YSL – their lipsticks are unreal!

I haven’t been to a Sephora in a couple of months now. For some reason, your post reminded me that there’s an Inglot counter at my local Macy’s. I may have to peruse the goods at Sephora and then head over to Macy’s for a swatch-fest. Have a good rest of your weekend!
Last time I went to Sephora was in the beginning of July and actually it was online. I bought my boyfriend his birthday present. If I had this gift card, I’d buy myself the Givenchy perfume I wanted to have for so long.
I prefer MAC to Sephora because I get better service from the former, but I’ve been dying for the NARS Laguna/Bronzer duo. I’ve been wanting it for ages – I think it was the first high-end product I learned about when I started watching beauty vids on YT.
Even though i was just at Sephora I always find something else I want!

Went to Sephora yesterday with a friend from work. Usually alternate between MAC and Sephora (they are both at the mall) and Ulta.
The last time I was at Sephora I got obsessed with their new eyeliners! I ended buying 7 of them! Their new jumbo crayon eyeliners are the best!

Last time I went to Sephora was in Boca visiting my sis in FL. Fave summer dress is from Urban outfitters, has a little peep hole in the front (still classy, mother still approves) blue with little white dots. LOVE it! Don’t even have to wear a bra 🙂
