Agent K-dawg, this is Urban Decay Base Camp. Over.

UD Base Camp, this is K-dawg, go ahead. Over.

K-dawg, UD Base Camp. Requesting mission status. How’s the testing of the Holiday 2012 Dangerous Palette ($36) going? Over.

Roger that, UD Base Camp. The mission to complete a bronze and gray smokey eye with Deeper, Mushroom and Ace is almost complete, although these eyeshadow pigments are reaching dangerous levels. Over.

Urban Decay Dangerous Palette

The eye palette pops out of the zippered case, so you can reuse it to hold makeup/cat treats/secret spy gear/whatevs!

K-dawg, UD Base Camp. Tech support is wondering what that tap-tap-tapping sound is on your end. Is it static, or is Jeremy Renner trying to send you love letters via Morse code again? Over.

Base Camp, this is K-dawg. Nah, that’s just me tapping my brushes against the edge of the sink to remove some excess eyeshadow before applying. Can’t have fallout beneath my eyes while I’m in the field. Over.

Copy that, K-dawg. Special Agent T-money requests a tutorial for the look. Can you oblige? Over.

UD Base Camp, K-dawg. Can do. Over.

A Bronze and Gray Smokey Eye with the Urban Decay Dangerous Palette

STEP 1: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil in Sin applied as a base over the entire eyelid

STEP 2: Eyeshadow in Deeper applied on the lids, in the crease and along the lower lash line with a fluffy domed blending brush

STEP 3: Eyeshadow in Ace applied to the lash line, barely into the crease and on the lower half of the lash line with a flat eyeshadow brush

STEP 4: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion (from the new holiday 2012 Ocho Loco 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set) applied on the upper lash lines with an angled eye brush, and directly along the water lines with the pencil itself

STEP 5: Eyeshadow in Mushroom applied in the inner corners with a flat eyeshadow brush

K-dawg, this is UD Base Camp. How long would you say this look takes from start to finish? Over.

Base Camp, K-dawg. About 15-20 minutes if you’re comfortable with blending; 30-45 if you’re not. Over.

Roger that, K-dawg. One last thing. Another request from Special Agent T-money. Gravy levels are low at the nest. Requesting Petco stop to resupply. Over.

UD Base Camp, this is K-dawg. Sigh… Copy that. Over. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood secret beauty agent,

Karen

Sexy look! It looks like you’re liking the MUFE Aqua Brow, I’ll have to check it out in the blonder colors…

      Hi Chelsea,

It’s super easy and lasts a REALLY long time. Plus I barely need to use any of it… I think my pan of MAC Concrete is jealous, hahaha.

What do you use? Are you an Omega kinda girl?

I’d been using a Femme Couture eyebrow pencil from Sally Beauty, which is okay. But I just went out and bought the Aqua Brow in 15 (blonde) after testing it at Sephora, it is wonderful! So excited to keep using it, I hate having my brows melt off when it’s really humid.

KAREN. Your hair looks amazing! You’ve inspired me to get mine cut. 😛 I gotta do something about my bangs.

I tried this look after reading it earlier and I really liked it! I’m going to pass on this palette, though. It probably says something about me that I have all but Gravity in this palette…

        Hi Karen,

I haven’t tried it with liquid foundation yet. I just got the brush the other day. I usually use my Sephora Airbrush foundation brush for liquid foundation or the beauty blender. But I will try it next time I wear liquid foundation (which isn’t that often because it’s hard to find one I really like).
