Chanel’s Smooth Nude Icone Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour

It’s not easy to find a smooth nude lipstick, but Chanel’s new Icone Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour ($34) is exactly that.

This golden beige makes for a killer nude lip… I can totally see Angelina Jolie wearing it with a cat eye.

Sometimes I top it off with MAC’s Big Baby Plushglass, which adds a hint of pink, or MAC Nice Buzz, which makes it look even more golden.

I think it’s perfection worn alone or with a gloss.

Icone lives in Chanel’s permanent line on counters and online. 🙂

I’ve been eyeing this since I saw it on another blog. $34 is a lot for lipstick though.

Love those shades but they look similar to some of the Rimmel lipsticks I have which cost so much less. Thanks for the swatches.

Beige nudes don’t look that great on me. I generally go for shades with a little peachy brown or pink in them. You’re carrying this shade really well!

I just bought my first Rouge Coco (Jersey Rose) and it’s beautiful, but I can’t stand the floral scent! I feel bad returning it though!

Icone is the type of color I really love but that looks terrible on me. I’m always trying to find a beige-pink that works, but it must just not be my color.

Ooooo looks like a gorgeous nude! I like that it looks like more of a ‘medium’ toned nude, if the colour was any lighter I’d look like death. Will have to check it out in a department store! 😀

Ohh Karen, I just bought the Mystique lipstick today. I came from a Doc’s Appointment, went to a nearby Dillard’s, passed by the Chanel counter and Bam! Just bought it from my extra cash. I did swatched Icone in the store but I looked sick 🙁 Not my color. I bought presage last week and was obsessed ever since. I also did swatched Affinite, but it’s too hot pink on me and Fantastic, which is definitely Fantastic! I’ll probably purchase it by Friday when I get paid.
