Sun-Kissed Peach, Gold and Cocoa Colors Bask on the Beach That Is the New Limited Edition NARS Loves Miami Set

NARS Love Miami
Wearing the new NARS Love Miami set on my eyes, cheeks and lips

Even though I’m feeling like this because it’s hella cold here today…

NARS Love Miami
Blergh!

Wearing the new NARS Loves Miami set makes me feel like this…

NARS Love Miami
What-what!

It’s one of those sets that makes you (me) wish you (I) lived someplace tropical during the winter — someplace where its golden shimmer and glitter and peach and brown shades (with a shot of violet) would play well with your perpetual tan, which, of course, you earned through regular after-work surf sessions…le sigh!

Um, did I mention that it’s cold here today?! Well…cold by Northern California standards (the high was 54 and the low was 30, and yes, I can hear you laughing from here).

I think the lack of warmth in my extremities right now might directly correlate with my sudden interest in makeup with a warm-weather theme.

The three-piece limited edition holiday set contains some of Miami’s bestselling shades, like peachy pink Orgasm Nail Polish and Lip Gloss, and an Eye & Cheek Palette with glittery pink Fathom Eyeshadow, shimmery sugared cocoa Kalahari Eyeshadow, matte deep violet Daphne Eyeshadow, shimmery dark brown Cordura Eyeshadow, peachy pink Orgasm Blush and golden brown Laguna Bronzing Powder.

If you’re spending the winter in Boca, score! The set’s available now and for a limited time at Bloomingdale’s in Boca Raton, at select Nordstrom stores (West Palm Beach, Dadeland, Aventura Mall and Boca), and the Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour for $75.

If you don’t happen to live in the Miami area but really want the set, you might be able to order it over the phone by calling one of the NARS counters at these Florida retailers.

  • Bloomingdale’s Boca Raton: (561) 394-2000
  • Nordstrom Weset Palm Beach: (561) 340-2100
  • Nordstrom Dadeland: (786) 709-4100
  • Nordstrom Aventura Mall: (305) 356-6900
  • Nordstrom Boca: (561) 620-5555
  • Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour: (305) 865-1100

Speaking of Florida, have you ever been? How about Miami? I’ve only been once. It was a brief trip a few years back for my friend Jen’s wedding in Boca.

I drove El Hub nuts because I sang the “Miami” song from The Golden Girls almost the entire time we were in the car.

Yup, good times… 🙂

DUDE. Don’t pretend you don’t know the lyrics because I know you do.

HIT IT, ROSE!!

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Lmao!! That second pic is everything! You’re too funny Karen lol. This set would have been so nice without Orgasm and Laguna mucking up the joint. I hope we stop seeing them in palettes soon lol

So spoiled by Bay Area weather, just came from the south, in the evenings it was 20-30 degrees, I literally was freezing. Yes sometimes warmer weather is just better, hate wearing layers of clothes! Oh and the palette is pretty just wish they didn’t use laguna or orgasm.

NARS needs to stop making these (I keep buying them!). I wish this set had some different colors than some of their recent releases, but its still really tempting.

The look you made is gorgeous!

These city-centric palettes that NARS has been working on are so pretty … I really enjoy the concept. And, yeah, I’m feeling like I could use a little warmth!

Love the eyeshadows. Bored with the Orgasm/Laguna blush/bronzer combo. Mix it up, NARS!

Um. It is KILLING ME that I cannot get my hands on this set!! I’ve already been fuming at myself for telling myself “no” to the Guy Bourdin cheek palette, which was a wonderful exercise for self-restraint/budgeting, and a terrible mistake to leave out of my makeup collection. I am always SO appreciative that you post how to access these LE beauties, even if they are still beyond my reach! In any case, a gorgeous set full of Nars goodies 🙂

I was at CVS earlier and was able to get a Wet N Wild palette with similar colors that was 50% off (as if Wet N Wild wasn’t cheap enough). I’m super excited to try them out, hopefully they will apply similarly as well. $1.50 well spent.

Karen, based on your review, I bought the Nars Loves New York palette as soon as it went on sale. Now I’m really tempted to buy this although I’m sure orgasm won’t show up on me and Can only use Laguna as a transition eyeshadow. That said, the nail polish and gloss are full sized and worth about $43. Unless I buy the eyeshadow a separately, $30 for 4 good quality eyeshadows doesn’t seem too unreasonable.

Btw, it is interesting that the temps there were the same as in central Ohio.

A set for us Floridians, woohoo! But Orgasm??? Really???? Sigh. And I own Fathom and Kalahari which makes me super sad because I really want Daphne and Cordura. Such is life. At least there’s always the Golden Girls to cheer me up 😀
