12 Days of Giveaways on Makeup and Beauty Blog

12 Days of Giveaways on Makeup and Beauty Blog
A different Makeup and Beauty Blog giveaway every day for 12 days, sponsored by Neutrogena

The tree is finally decorated, the On Demand yule log is crackling on the telly, Christmas tunes are playing, and the halls are decked. Yup, yup! I’m feelin’ the holiday spirit, y’all!

Which leads me to this: holiday giveaways. 🙂

This year, just like last, Makeup and Beauty Blog will be home to another 12 Days of Giveaways, thanks to the skin-lurving peeps at Neutrogena, one of my favorite drugstore brands (Quick note from my dry lips: they’d like to know if you have Fresh Papaya MoistureSmooth in your life yet? Because if not, you need it, like, yesterday.).

Today and on each of the next 11 days, I’ll be giving away a different batch of Neutrogena beauty and skincare prizes, and one super dope purse prize that will seriously knock your socks off. Here’s a hint: the brand of the bag rhymes with the phrase, “Gooey straight on…”

Yeah! I wish I could win it!

I really, really hope your 2013 ends on a high note and that your 2014 gets off to a great start.

Let’s get this party started, shall we?

For day one, our focus is skincare. The Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair collection in this four-piece prize package includes their Eye Cream, Serum, Night Moisturizer and a Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen.

The secret sauce? Something called Accelerated Retinol SA, which Neutrogena formulated to quickly help fade the appearance of deep wrinkles, while brightening skin tone and smoothing fine lines and texture.

“Accelerated Retinol SA combines the highest concentration of Neutrogena’s Retinol SA with glucose complex — an exclusive booster that delivers pure stabilized retinol into the skin’s surface quickly and effectively – and Hyaluronic Acid that leaves skin feeling smoother and younger-looking.”
— neutrogena.com

As always, babe, thank you for reading, commenting and supporting all the crazy cat talk here on MBB (or at least putting up with it, LOL!), and a big thank you to Neutrogena, as well, for the opportunity. Details on how to enter are down below.

A different Makeup and Beauty Blog giveaway every day for 12 days

  • A four-piece prize package featuring the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair collection valued at $84 that includes:
    • One (1) Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream valued at $20.99
    • One (1) Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer valued at $20.99
    • One (1) Rapid Wrinkle Repair Serum valued at $20.99
    • One (1) Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 valued at $20.99

    • Enter using the Rafflecopter widget below.
    • Open to U.S. readers (I’m sorry, international babes. The sponsor is limiting these to U.S. residents only, but I plan to host some giveaways that include you soon.).
    • You must be 18 or older to enter (or otherwise an adult based on your local laws).
    • Your comment can be about anything at all, but here are some ideas if you’re stuck:
      • Where will you be spending the holidays?
      • When was the last time you wore glitter?
      • What are your go-to Neutrogena products?
      • Do you do any snow sports like snowboarding, skiing, etc.?
      • Peppermint or gingerbread?
      • How old were you when you realized that Santa wasn’t — ya know — real?
    • You can enter in up to seven ways to boost your chances of winning.
    • The giveaway ends on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time).
    • Full terms and conditions are available in the widget.

I wore glitter to work yesterday. Just a thin line of the purple urban decay glitter liner. I think I might wear the silver one to work tomorrow. I prefer peppermint over gingerbread but I feel like peppermint gets forgotten during the rest of the year. But a gingerbread chai is really good.

OF course Santa is REAL! But, for the record, he used to come to my house every Christmas Eve to make sure I was ready for bed and that I wasn’t giving my Mom and Dad a hard time. THis was the most exciting thing EVER until…

Yep, those blasted street-wise smart alecs across the street were joking one day about how ol’ Mr. R—– (dressed as Santa Claus) went door to door on Christmas Eve to pick up free “cheer”. ANd how wasted he was when he finally got home. Um, I pretended to know what they were talking about (I think I was 8 or 9)but truly I was devastated. LOL

I grew up knowing Santa was fake – my mom didn’t want to lie to me. I appreciate her for that because I knew my gifts were from her hard work. I don’t understand how underprivileged children could believe in Santa – do they think they are bad children if they get less or no presents and see other children getting tons? It doesn’t make sense to me.

Always knew Santa wasn’t real, isn’t that crazy? My parents are very Chinese LOL so they never bullshitted me with that and always kept it straight forward. I never asked even though at school everyone would talk about Santa and what not. 😛

Love you, Tabs, and your blog! (oh, and el hub, too!!). What a coincidence .. .. I just ordered Neutrogena serum online and look forward to trying other Neutrogena products, so this is a great chance.

I’ll be having Christmas brunch with my two sisters; we just lost our handsome, happy brother, so it’ll be sad, but we carry on!

Your great swatches and information have guided me many times . . . discovered a great chia breakfast, got the Guerlain holiday lipstick, and oh-so-much more! Next February we get our Trader Joe’s in Boulder, CO, and can hardly wait for the stars you’ve been tempting us with.

    Happy holidays!

What are your go-to Neutrogena products? – I use the Purifying Facial Cleanser from the Naturals collection every day, morning and night. So gentle, lovely smell. And my daily moisturizer is their Radiance lotion with SPF 15.
Do you do any snow sports like snowboarding, skiing, etc.? – I ski frequently, mostly cuz I get killa benefits at the ski resort where I work! 😀
Peppermint or gingerbread? – KAREN HOW COULD I CHOOSE. If it was the end of the world and my last dessert… something gingerbready.

I think the last time I wore glitter was about a month ago when I painted my nails and my favorite Neutrogena product is my Moisture Wrap Body Lotion: Norwegian Formula (I also have the hand cream). I hate greasy lotions and this one is the only drugstore lotion I’ve found so far that is nearly undetectable seconds after you put it on. Save for the soft skin of course.
