The OPI Brazil Beach Sandies Mini Kit Says Bye-Bye to Boring With Four Vivid Textured Polishes

The new four-piece OPI Brazil Beach Sandies Mini Kit

Very clever, OPI. Very clever. 🙂

The part of me that lives to over-think the symbolic significance of everything loves the juxtaposition of gritty sand, neutrals and bright pigments in the OPI Brazil collection.

On one end, there are the sandy-colored neutral polishes in the overarching 12-piece OPI Brazil collection, which all have a smooth, creamy finish.

On the other, there are the four vivacious mini polishes here in the accompanying Brazil Beach Sandies Kit ($12.95), all of which have OPI’s pebbled, textured Liquid Sand finish in bright, eye-catching shades, also known as psychedelic party sand for your paws.

Even if you aren’t a big fan of textured polishes, I think these vivid shades are still worth a try if you like playful, cheerful colors. They’re seriously smile-inducing, and the names — You’re So Flippy Floppy, What’s a Little Rain Forest, Samba-dy Loves Purple and I’m Brazil Nuts Over You — are catchy, too.

In each of the swatches below, I’m wearing two coats…

Also, here’s something else you may like. You know how some mini nail polish bottles have jacked-up brushes?

Not these. These brushes here are classic OPI, with bristles that fan out perfectly across the nail. With these, I can easily freehand sharp, crisp edges.

This cute little set surfed onto OPI counters earlier this month, so if you’d like to check it out, you can find it now for $12.95 at professional salons, Pure Beauty stores and online.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I love the orange/yellow one. It’s one of those citrus colors that grabs a lot of attention.

Nice! I actually like all four shades! Really pretty colors, and the texture isn’t too crazy. I’m definitely ready for warmer weather.

Love the colours, especially the purple and the hot coral 🙂 I feel like there needed to be a vibrant blue in the main collection though!

So do they feel textured? I’m not sure I can wear a textured polish if it feels textured. I’d always be touching it!

I am a Brazilian girl and it’s really sad to know that we don’t have this kit in Brazil. Well, I haven’t seen one yet, but I will wait and be surprised! 😀 These colors are gorgeous!
