I’m not ashamed to say that Easy Lover (an ’80s classic jam by Phil Collins and Philip Bailey) is one my karaoke jams. I’ve mangled that song many, many times on stage, LOL!
Soooo whenever I wear Easy Lover, a sheer hot pink Lip Gloss by NARS ($26), I have to sing a little bit of the song, of course.

I just wish this gloss was more pigmented Karen-it looks so beautiful in the tube but it doesn’t translate to the lips sadly. I own this (old formula)-I am going to dig it out today and see how it compares to the new formula

It looks amazing in the tube, but what happened to the pigmentation? That’s a bit disappointing… :o/ Xx

Wow! I was so surprised that this gloss was so sheer! I don’t mind that necessarily, I mean, it actually translates somewhat similar to Revlon Sugar Violet, a favourite everyday gloss of mine, but it looks deceptively bright in the tube..
i don’t do sheer glosses, but this seems to have potential layered on pinks and fuchsia, which i have a lot of.

I bought this gloss and returned it. I hated how sheer it was! NARS is such a tease for making it look so beautiful in the tube and then look like a clear gloss on the lips. Total let down
NARS! No bueno on the non-pigments 🙁 If I want a sheer pink gloss I’m going straight to the drugstore, not to the NARS counter. In fact the last Revlon lip gloss I got was super duper pigmented (colorburst in Fire), so strike that. I hope they listen to their customer feedback on these glosses. Until then I’ll be steering clear of their lip products and sticking with their shadows and blushes.

This is a really pretty colour. Much lighter than it looks in the tube but still very pretty! Who doesn’t love a little Phil Collins reference? 🙂

Oh, that made me laugh! I like the gloss but don’t care for the song; not a big fan of Phil/Genesis. That said, I’m sure I’d be cheering you on while you were singing it for karaoke. 🙂
