I do this sometimes with MAC collections (for no particular reason other than random curiosity), where I try to see if I can come up with any lip combos I really like, and here’s what I came up with today — lip combos using the Lip Pencils, Lipsticks and Lipglasses from the MAC Alluring Aquatic collection.
Do any of these catch your eye? I’m always hoping to come up with the secret sauce to my next favorite lip look. You never know what you’re gonna get until you try.

You could do the combos in 3 or 6! They will look very dramatic on you though, which I think would be really cool. But if you wanted something more mellow, then Peachstock Lipglass, Water Deities Lipglass, or Pet Me Please Me or Enchanted One Lipsticks would work too.
I’ve been very excited about the release of this collection, but the two lipsticks that I want (Enchanted One and Mystical) are already sold out online.:( I ordered the Lorelei eyeshadow and the duo fiber eyeshadow brush, though, and I’m excited to try those!

Beautiful combos, Karen! I’ve been dying for this collection to come out (beautiful colors, even more beautiful packaging!). It was crazy this morning once it launched… I was so glad I checked before I drove to work so I was able to order everything I wanted because once I got there 90 mins later, a lot was already sold out! I tried to be good as I’m on a tight budget, but I decided to get Mystical l/s, Legendary Lure e/s, Fathoms Deep e/s, Silver Sun e/s, Sea Me Hear Me Blush, Aphrodite’s Shell Bronzer, and the duo fibre eyeshadow brush (I wanted something I could use daily in that gorgeous teal color). I was really tempted by the lipglasses, but I have so many already… almost bought Water Deities, but then you pointed out that it is similar to the Nars gloss (Sweet Dreams, I think?) so I’ll get that later instead once I have some extra cash. I was also really tempted by the compact for Golden/Refined Golden, but it seemed silly to blow that much cash on a bronzer when all I really wanted was the compact itself haha. I was able to use the free overnight shipping code and everything should be arriving tomorrow! (I was indecisive, and Legendary Lure wasn’t available initially so I had to make separate purchases – boyfriend’s going to think I’m totally cray :P)
I love all of the color combinations, especially the Mystical lipstick with Clear Water lipglass and funnily enough I got both of them. I got the lipglass and one eyshadow from the airport in Amsterdam when I was coming back from Poland and I ordered the Mystical lipstick yesterday.
Combos #1 & #3 are my faves!
I love the opening look!! I’ve been on the fence about Mystical but that Half Red combo is definitely winning me over. I really like the way it looks with Clear Water too! You’re kinda making me want Seducing Sound too

i wish i could have gotten enchanted one- the color on you is exactly what i am looking for, but i know that eo won’t do that on me. light pinks and nudes always turn brown on me!
i did end up ordering mystical and siren song… mine should be arriving in the little black mac box any minute! i didn’t get any glosses or pencils, but this still makes me even more excited 🙂
That picture of you is stunning! I wasn’t sure about clear water but I’m glad I picked it up! All the lipsticks were pulled out of my cart except siren! I was taking too long. I like all of the combos minus Peachstock. #1 for some reason is really appealing to me today. Normally I’m not such a fan of such light lips but there is just so much depth to look it’s not corpse like at all!
