It’s the name of Bobbi Brown’s summer collection, which reminds me, I just finished a huge Rice Krispie treat for dessert, and it was hella good, but I digress…
It’s summer makeup for Bobbi Brown minimalists, with bronzers, lip tints, nail polishes, a Beach perfume and body oil, and a shimmer brick of neutral eyeshadows.
I’m most excited about the perfume, truth be told. Bobbi Brown Beach symbolizes summer to me, and I never get tired of it.
As for the rest of the collection, well… The colors in the eyeshadow shimmer brick are so similar that I’m pretty sure they’ll look more or less the same on me, and the bronzers and lip balms don’t particularly excite me, either.
I dunno… Maybe I’m still swooning over MAC Alluring Aquatic.
In other MAC Alluring Aquatic news, if you happen to find yourself in the Bay Area May 30 – June 1, swing by the MAC Pro Store at 45 Powell Street if you can. I hear there’s going to be a massive three-day Alluring Aquatic event with a stage and live performances (I’m not sure what kind of performances, but probably music).

What happens to Bobbi Brown every time she has to bring out a collection? Her permanent line products are so good; why do her collections suck so royally? Especially the eye makeup. Someone should stage an intervention.
I wonder this every time MAC puts out a crappy eyeshadow collection. Their permanent range is supposed to be great, and the Alluring Aquatic ones seem to get a lot of love, so why can’t they do well all the time?
I’m also a fan of BB Beach as I’ve always loved the smell of sunscreen!

Those eye shadows do look pretty similar, but I’m intrigued by the perfume. I’ve never tried it, but I’ve been searching for a new summer perfume.
I’d love to try the perfume too. But I agree, the rest of the collection is pretty meh…
This collection doesnt look exciting at all.. wish they had some beachy oranges or blues in their collection.. 😉
I tend to only like her holiday collections!
