My goodness, sweets. You HAVE to try this combo if you love copper, which I do, ’cause it brings out the richness in so many different eye colors! Brown, hazel, green, blue — especially blue.
I was chatting in the comments yesterday with long-time MBB reader Saffron (‘sup, S?) about one of my favorite copper eyeshadows, Laura Mercier’s Metallic Creme Eye Colour in Burnished Copper, which, of course, gave me an idea for my eye makeup today.
I took out the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette (don’t forget to enter the giveaway if you haven’t already), figuring that the Burnished Copper would make a good base for the warm reddish browns and bronzes in the palette.
I also grabbed MAC Costa Riche Eye Kohl, a warm reddish brown liner I absolutely adore.
Gosh, I wish makeup playtime was a mandatory thing. Wouldn’t that be cool? It could be like recess for beauty lovers.
I think I’ve said this before… Maybe if I repeat myself it’ll come true, LOL!
Just think of all the great combos we could stumble upon by accident. 🙂
THIS ^^^^ is what I’ve always wanted to see from the Chocolate Bar palette. I think you just pushed me over the edge to buying it! Of course it means I will need to invest in a gorgeous warm copper cream too 😉

Im loving reddish bronzey liners this summer. Urban decay’s raoch and pixi’s copper glow are my faves. It works wonders for dark brown eyes. Makes them pop but still looks neutral. Love it!
Your eyes lookk oh so gorgeous.. but I cant ignore your lip shade as well.. which one are your using here..?

Suuuuup! That Mercier color is in the mail as I type this, I got the 10% off deal at Nordies to boot! I got a look all planned out using Mythology and Teddy and the Rhinestone Cowboy glitter. And I can’t wait to introduce it to my precious Guerlain Turandot.
Also I totally went all fangirl to see myself mentioned and bragged to my husband, who gets equally excited when he gets to chat with his favorite bloggers. “You know, the lady who photoshops her cat with makeup!” – finally got thru to him; not everyone is into eyeshadow, but they all love Tabs.
Makeup play time has now been added to my to-do list for today. Nothing copper in my stash. So now my makeup wish list had grown as well. You never fail to impress with your makeup look. I also think it’s safe to say you can add photographer to your resume. Like, for real gurl, you be killin’ it!!!!!!
