The LORAC Pro Matte Lip Colors: When a Flat Matte Finish Won’t Do

If you’re matte as hell, and you’re not gonna take it anymore! — and by “it,” I mean lipsticks with a flat matte finish, then check out LORAC’s line of long-wearing Pro Matte Lip Colors ($16 each).

Available in 12 shades that range from nude to vibrant, they’re super fancy-schmancy. They have a lovely, finessed matte finish that looks like a plush piece of expensive velvet, and a twist-up pencil tip that makes them easy to use for lining and filling in your lips.

The three I’ve tried — Coral, Violet and Magenta — easily last through drinks and snacks. Wear time is excellent.

Look for the Pro Matte Lip Colors now at LORAC counters and online.

I personally have no love for mattes thanks to horrible lip situation but anything Lorac and I suddenly have very high expectations!

Ooh, I’m loving the magenta. I don’t think I’ve ever tried Lorac products, this is very intriguing.

      Hi Alice Ann,

They’ve got some great things. I love her Front of the Line liquid liner, Pro Palettes and Pro Blushes. Do you want links to the reviews that I did of these items (it was a while back)? Would be happy to find them for you.

Mmph. That purple!! I love that more brands are coming out with magenta, orchid, and grape lipsticks nowadays — such a cool thing to see outside of theatre makeup.

Oh, those look like such fun! I love the look of them, plus I need a purple lipstick! I need to see the whole line.

On a different subject, every time I go to your website, Karen, I get a pop-up Mackeeper ad. I never get pop-ups and I have a pop-up ad blocker. Just on your website. Is there anything I can do to stop it? Sorry to ask but it seems very odd.

So glad you commented on this! Me too! And it’s been a pain for a while now….making me less likely to bother with checking in with the blog….which makes me sad. Cuz I love you, Karen!

I really like all 3 shades! I’ll have to grab them soon. I’ve read some pretty good reviews so far
