NARCISO Eau de Parfum by Narciso Rodriguez

NARCISO Eau de Parfum by Narciso Rodriguez

For reasons I don’t understand but am not totally surprised by, I keep calling this new fragrance by designer Narciso Rodriguez, “NAR-SISCO,” as in the Thong Song Sisqo.

Don’t know why…since it’s about a million degrees of separation from shaking butts in booty floss, but sometimes things happen that we aren’t meant to understand. 🙂

I’ve been wearing it all week long (the eau de parfum, not the booty floss), even though its cedar, amber and musk notes make it seem a little warm for the late summer heat wave we’ve been having, and the gardenia and Bulgarian rose notes give it another level of creaminess that would probably make the scent better suited for chunky knit sweaters and knee-high boots. A splash of vetiver keeps it from being too hot and heavy, though, which is nice.

You can find NARCISO Eau de Parfum ($95 for a 1.6-oz. bottle and $112 for a 3-oz. bottle), Scented Body Lotion ($54 for a 6.7-oz. bottle) and Musc Oil Parfum ($155 for 1.6-oz.) now exclusively at Bloomingdale’s stores and online.

    Hi Karen!
I just tried this one out at a duty free store yesterday and I totally regret that I didn’t buy it 😀
It’s such a creamy comfy scent, just the perfect thing for the fast approaching fall…. Will definitely buy this once it hits the store here in Germany.
I’m also a fan of the bottle design, so nice and clean…
    Have a lovely weekend!!

Lmao @ booty floss! I also pronounce it the same way. Idk why. It just feels right lol. Now I’ll have to actually try it the next time I see it!

*reads name again*… Whoops! I have totally been calling this Nar-sisco in my head this whole time. Lucky I never had to say the name to someone, LOL!

The scent sounds lovely! We’re heading out of Winter and into Spring here, but we’ve been having a late Winter rain-wave (is that a thing?) that makes chunky sweaters, knee high boots and this scent rather appropriate 🙂

I got a sample of this in a beauty box and I loved it! I’m not generally one for warm scents but this one is not the typical sweet-vanilla-musk and seems more sophisticated and not too heavy. I am definitely picking this up soon!

I used to have a small bottle of the EDT and I loved it.
Out of all the “skin-like-sexy” musks, I think this one blooms the prettiest on my skin. I guess SJP Lovely is in the same vein, but I can only wear this when it is raining or something otherwise it smells too dry and masculine on me.

I got a small bottle sample from the company to try it out before it’s release in the UK and by God it was great. It’s very romantic and sunset-y. I feel like this fragrance is the ‘scent’ of Grease. Weird I know.

Oh my stars, just realized I’ve been mispronouncing his name- for years! Tehehehe. Booty floss. Now Sisqo’s song will be in my head all day 🙂

That sounds like such a lovely, comfy scent for fall. The packaging is so elegant too.

I tried a sample of this and it has such a romantic musky scent! Do you know how long this will be available for, as it says it’s LE at bloomies? Thx

It sounds perfect for the chilly autumn weather we have been having here in the midwest this last week. Definitely want to sniff when I get the chance!

I did exactly the same thing. I thought, “I’ve never heard of Narcisco. Um, or Narciso.” I think they should rename it. 🙂

I was walking through Bloomingdales over the weekend. Stoped and the SA sprayed a pretty ribbon so I could see if I liked the scent. I was on my way out got to my car and was ready to leave but I loved it so much that I got back out of the car to go in and purchase. It’s so yummy. Not the typical scent that I’m drawn to but so nice and so different.
