Here’s a matte neutral combo I’ve been crushing on: peachy mocha brown MAC Matte Lipstick in Pander Me ($16), with creamy beige MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Etcetera ($20).

It is super pretty. It applies very warm on me (my skin seems to bring out the red); I like to wear it with warmer peachy nudes. 🙂

I was not paying any attention to MAC Matte Lip collection until I saw Living Legend. It looks like a cross between Ingrid & Liv from NARS at half the price.
I know it is matte whereas with NARS there is kind of a satin finish. I could always put some lip gloss over it . .

I love the lipstick color and pencil. I’m looking for a color that sort of looks like that so I need to go check it out. Sometimes colors like that don’t look to great on me.
Nudes can be tricky. I find that unless they’re just right they can make me look washed out.

We are having a fried turkey, honey baked ham, mash potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, bread, and mini pecan pies. Crab sounds yummy!!! Last year when I was in Bodega Bay I saw the fishermen bringing in the crab traps filled with yummy crab. My best friend always has crab for Thanksgiving too.
I LOVE Old Navy but I go out of control there. I need to make my list of gifts to buy (I have tons of kids stuff to buy for all of my godchildren). I have to try and stay focused and not shop for myself.

I’ve never had crab for Thanksgiving so I’m looking forward to it. It’s my favorite thing in the whole, wide world. I sometimes think about going full-on vegetarian (I’m pescatarian right now) but I don’t think I could because of crab. I LOVE IT!!!! I’m going to try dipping it in gravy. Who knows? It could work.
Well maybe you can get some of those gifts for the kids at Old Navy tomorrow? The entire store is supposed to be 50% off!

They make everything SO much easier. Especially matte lipstick. Especially matte red lips! 😀 I usually have a few of them in my purse, but the funny thing is they are all slight variations on the same sort of peachy/pink nude shade.

Great combo, Karen! I’ve been loving matte lipsticks lately, too. Being that I have extremely dry lips, though, I have to really exfoliate and use a lip balm/treatment before applying one. 😉
Oh, this looks so beautiful on you. Pander Me looks great on some type of skin colors but it does noooot look good on me although I really like the color 🙁 The lip liner is one of my faves if I wear a beige/brown lip but it does look really differently on me, I like it way more on you! But I’ll keep this combo in mind for my next makeup appointment, this really looks great on darker skin tones <3

I bought this color and styled in sepia. Its funny because I think both just look ok on my skin tone. Pander me really looks orange on me but I pair it with a brown lipliner.
