Another fab collab, this one between MAC and Nasty Gal owner/founder Sophia Amoruso, the four-piece MAC Nasty Gal collection is coming to select MAC stores and the MAC website December 4 (through January 1, 2015) with three lipsticks in Stunner (a matte red), Runner (a matte burgundy) and Gunner (a deep matte purple) for $16 US/$19 CAD, as well as a true red Studio Nail Lacquer with a creme finish called Flaming Rose ($12 US/$14 CAD; not shown in this post).

They’re totally unforgiving, especially the burgundy shade (Runner) and the dark purple (Gunner). My flakes were front and center when I tried ’em, but the red shade (Stunner) was better.”

Bonus points for getting the Vanity 6 ref, LOL. Funny thing is I was in elementary school when I listened to their music, OMG! I had no idea what they were singing. My friends and I even did a choreographed dance to “Sex Shooter.” HAHA!
I just knew I was skipping this collection but now I think I want Runner and Gunner. Runner does look patchy but I really like that color!

Oh gosh…now that song is stuck in my head….I liked the swatch of runner but if it doesn’t like flakes then that won’t be working for me. Stunner is pretty tho…but really how many red lipsticks do I really need….
You could do it if you prep the night before. Do a lip scrub then apply a moisturizing lip balm before you go to bed and then again first thing in the morning. I didn’t have time to do it and so the flakes were like OH HAI. lol
The thing with red lipstick is you can ALWAYS wear it. It goes from season to season easily and it’s timeless. At least that’s what I keep telling myself when I start lusting after a new red!
Ooh I have been looking for a deep color like Runner. Tempting (even though I absolutely should not buy another lipstick for like 10 years given how large my stash is lol).

I am going to my cousin’s house so they are doing the majority of the cooking! I did make a delicious Japanese Cheesecake today to bring over.
It’s sitting in my fridge now and it looks so good I just want to eat it. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s cheesecake with meringue folded in so it makes the cheesecake very very light and fluffy!
Last year I brought a bag of turkey home and I swear Atticus almost took my hand off trying to eat a piece. He is such a chow-hound. He loves food!

Oh it is delicious! I don’t do a traditional crust with it. I like to think it is maybe a little healthier because it uses less cream cheese. haha. It’s a good justification.
If I wasn’t bringing the cheesecake over for family…I would have eaten a slice by now!
Atticus is very sophisticated. He eats a carrot every day and uses his paws to hold it up while he eats it. He’s a giant 130 pound bunny. haha.

Karen, I like Gunner on you. Just the lipstick by itself I thought….ewww…but it looks fab on you. I did not notice any flakes. I normally go for shades like Runner but ummm yeah NO! You are right Stunner does look good.. but consider Gunner too!

Runner and Stunner are right up my alley, but the dry lips are a serious problem over here. It is very cold and windy at Ostsee at the moment.
All three colors are definitely too bold for me, with maybe the expection of Stunner… maybe. Too bad the finish isn’t very nice.
I have been waiting for this collection to become available in my country because I am lemming big time for Stunner. I’m glad that it’s more forgiving on dry lips because it’s the only one I want from the 3.
