Win a $50 Sephora e-gift card from Makeup and Beauty Blog
Win a $50 Sephora e-gift card from Makeup and Beauty Blog

Rise and shine, morning glory! It’s a beautiful day!

Well…actually, I don’t really know what kind of day it is outside because I haven’t looked (it was raining cats and dogs and frogs last night!), but I’m sure it’ll be a beautiful day regardless of the weather.

I’m sitting in my father-in-law’s quiet office in Redding right now with my laptop on the floor and typing to poo. 🙂 Yup, we drove up to Redding last night to see their new house (they recently moved), and I think I’m the only one awake.

I’m wondering if it snowed in the night… We shall see.

Good luck in the giveaway, and have a wonderful weekend, whatever you’re up to. I’m gonna see if I can find a place online now that sells doughnuts…

Not sells them online, online. I mean, find a place on the web that sells doughnuts in the area.

Never mind…

Heh, well, Mean Girls was great, and it’s most people’s favorite. But nothing can replace Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion in my heart. Not really a teen movie, per se, but I was entering puberty when I first watched it, so I associate it with teens.

PS: Not sure how to feel about Marsala, but it looks like it could be a nice lip color for me

A gift you’ve already gotten someone for Christmas?
    — I got a new side mirror for my car a few months ago :/

Have you ever left the house liking your outfit but then freaked out about it later at work?
    — Not at work, but I did that in college. I am very self conscience :/

    Your favorite bra and why?
    — I have a Cacique Balconette(?) bra that is pink and black plaid with a black bow in the center! Super sexy and gives me a good looking rack 🙂

Best teen movie of all time?
    — The Breakfast Club!

Do you ever wear lipstick on your cheeks or eyes?
    — No ma’am I don’t.

How do you feel about warm reddish-brown Marsala, Pantone’s 2015 color of the year?
    — I think it’s a beautiful color. I’m curious to see how SEPHORA is going to make their SEPHORA + Pantone line!

I will be getting her another one b/c she leaves in on a damp counter and it has started to rust =/. They may become a yearly tradition getting her the curling iron she likes every year. She is the type to get one product and take it everywhere with her. She tends to travel a lot.

The Pantone color for 2015 is simply gorgeous. It’s very versatile and I believe on a monochromatic scale it’s going to work well on every skin tone. As for holiday shopping I haven’t gotten all of it done but I did get my brothers sneakers and my boyfriends hoodie.

The Pantone color is a little disappointing for me, not because I don’t love it, but because I already love it. Marsala is basically the only face makeup color I wear. So I do think it’s a great color, but the fun thing about the colors of the year is experimenting with a new, bolder, exciting color…

I have already done half of my shopping for Christmas as I hate crowds and have discovered online shopping…..with a serious addiction to Ebay. I am weaning myself off of Clinique products from Ebay but I love those little travel tubes that are hard to find or get from counters. I don’t understand why everyone is hoarding samples at stores….Sephora seems to be the only one that gives them out and are helpful to boot.

I love the Marsala colour – it is nice to change things up a bit.

And I love the photos with Tabs…..very creative and cute!

When I saw the colour of the year from Pantone announced I must say I was not a fan of it. However I suppose designers will use just small hits of it. I would not like it as a wall colour. I also do not care for it as a colour to wear.

Marsala looks better for home decor than for fashion or beauty to me, but I’m sure it would be a flattering lipstick shade for many people with warmer complexions than mine.

How do you feel about warm reddish-brown Marsala, Pantone’s 2015 color of the year? Totes digging it! This color is really flattering on us redheads (imo, I don’t want to cast all of us with that brush) so I’m excited to do some monotone beauty looks that kinda sorta match my hair. It’s like the redhead’s chance to do that 90s brown-neutral matchy match. ^_^

So, for Christmas this year I wanted to pamper her by putting her first. I bought my mom a ProX cleansing brush, a Caudalie Polyphenol C15 gift set, Caudalie Divine Oil, Biotherm Lait Corporel, and Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm. • Your favorite bra and why? I like the VS Incredibles for comfort, but Marlies Dekkers has really sexy strappy details. But I think my favorites might be my prettier VS Very Sexy bras. The ones with lace and rhinestones, they always sell out fast cause they’re so preeeetttyyyy!

We got our tree yesterday and, with some trimming, got it into the house and upright (just scraping the ceiling). It takes up a ton of room and I know it’s the perfect size because the Hubs keeps grumbling and calling it ridiculous. If you don’t have to wrap it in a tarp with ratchet straps to get in in the extra-wide door, then it’s too small. 😉 Let the Christmas spirit begin!!!!

Yes, yes, yes, I already pick some makeup stuff for my friends and am going to wrap them myself after final exams…

Have you ever left the house liking your outfit but then freaked out about it later at work?
Constantly… and probably i won’t go back to that outfit for a while.

    Your favorite bra and why?
I kinda own Victoria’s secret bras more than any other brands, simply because they are more accessible and affordable (good deals when on sale). But when it comes to shapes, some of the collection won’t fit my asian small shoulder… sad sad. I’ve tried some Calvin Klein too.

My favorite bra is actually a bra / crop top from Athleta with cross straps in the back. It’s so comfortable and I feel muscle-y 😉

My favorite bra is a little triangley bralette from Aerie. I bought two black and a pink! They’re super comfortable and aren’t doing crazy things like defying gravity. Wish I had bought more 🙁
