This Year’s Christmas Mani: The Dance Music Duet by Deborah Lippmann

December 25th, 2014 by Karen 12 Comments

It’s been a minute since the last time I wore a Deborah Lippmann polish, and I forgot how sturdy these guys are!

On this most merriest of days, I’m showcasing a deep reddish brown with a cool-toned multi-colored accent nail via Deborah Lippmann’s two-piece Dance Music Duet set ($19, but it’s on sale right now at Sephora for $12).

I first applied both the glitter and the creamy darker shade in this duo about a week ago, and they lasted five days before two tiny chips appeared on my right paw/claw…but I liked the whole ensemble so much that I resurrected it with an extra coat of each last night.

Meowy Christmas! 🙂

How’s about you? Are you wearing a Christmas mani today?

That’a a pretty mani! My nails look festive too. I am wearing Zoya in Posh with a coat of Essie Summit of Style over it. It’s very Christmas appropriate.

I’m wearing a badly chipped OPI red. I must remove it before Christmas dinner!
I love, love, love Deborah Lippman. I pair one of her colors with her gel lab and it lasts well over a week without chipping.

Wearing Essie “Sole Mate” with some golden glitter (OPI Skyfall Collection, mini, can’t think of the name) as accent nail.

Such a deep red! My nails right now are a holographic blue; etsy store Digital Nails’ “Stars at Night”. I can’t stop staring at it. I love, love, love changing my nail polish colors, but this I might have to wear until the end of eternity.

Yes! I do have on a non traditional mani .. a mauve nail color, one glittery accent nail and a painted on white sprig type design. Of course, design is copied from pintrest 😉

I’m rocking a candy apple red polish from Finger Paints in the color Expressionist Red. I topped all 10 digits with a silver glitter polish. It’s kind of a literal color combo for Christmas & I’ve seen a few folks rocking a shade of red for the holidays. And they were my inspiration. Totally loving my nails. Keep staring at them. I’m such an easily amused, cute dork. Lol!

Cute! No mani for me for Christmas. But I’m going to do a pink accent nail with teal cream for NYE, I think.
