Why hasn’t my love for Chanel’s summery vivid violet Lavanda nail lacquer translated into love in my closet?
One of life’s great mysteries, I suppose…
I rutted around in there this morning to find something to wear with Lavanda (I’m wearing two coats in these pics, by the way), and the only thing I could find was this romper.
Actually, I know why I don’t own many purple pieces of clothing (and other bright colors). It’s the cat hair. My wardrobe has progressively grown more gray over the past few years to match the tabby fur that I’m almost constantly covered in from head to toe.
I’ve been trying to re-colorize lately, but there’s still a ways to go. Today is a good step, though.

At the risk of sounding EXTREMELY repetitive, I’m wearing MAC’s Modern Movement nail polish from Lightness of Being. It’s officially my favorite nail polish ever to exist! 😀
I haven’t decided yet what I will be going to wear on my nails. Decisions!

The NKOTB?? OMG, it reminds me of my teens, when my BFF and I had posters in our bedrooms and were playing their tape over and over again on our Walkmen (Walkmans??) 🙂 Yeah they were big in France among teens too.

Love the purple Chanel. I, as usual, have nothing on my nails. I do have the new(ish) Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Malibu Peach sitting here on my desk waiting for me, though, so that might happen tomorrow.

NO WAY!!!! That concert sounds like sooooooooo much fun. I have a similar purple polish on mah toes & a sky blue on mah fingers that looks like Tiffany blue in certain light. Have an amazing time.

I have become very quezy about gel polish lately. The one that uses the UV light .
I know you have posted some articles recently but what are your current thoughts on gel polish & UV light ?
