It Cosmetics CC+ Radiance Ombre Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi

Oh! I’ve been meaning to talk to you about It Cosmetics CC+ Radiance Ombre Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi ($24), but I haven’t been able to put my thoughts into words.

There’s just something…indescribable about it. I wish there was a phrase to describe things like that…

Sorry, I know, that was bad! 🙂 But I couldn’t resist. It’s called Je Ne Sais Quoi, for crying out loud! What did they expect!?

The marvelous mix of ombre neutral pinks in this blush range from light to dark, and they create a lovely glowing sheen on cheeks that me and mah pores like. Je Ne Sais Quoi absolutely lives up to its name.

In other news…birds!

The birds are back in town! The finches that nested in one of the hanging planters on our deck left the nest a couple weeks ago, but when I was watering the plants outside this morning I heard some baby birds chirping, so I looked around, and guess what!? There’s a new brood of hatchlings on my neighbor’s deck! They’re about 20 feet away.

So this makes me very happy today. 🙂 I hope you have a great day too.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

It makes you look… not radiant exactly… Kinda more luminescent? It’s like you’re actually lit up, but not in a warm/dewy glowy way. The other word I’d use is ‘luminous’ but I think that one’s overused in the beauty marketing world!

Ça va sans dire! But I’ll say it anyway – your cheekbones look awesome!

Yes, birds know a good nest when they see one!

What a beautiful blush! Do they make it in a more peachy gradient? I’d love that!
The hummingbirds are all over the place here, and we put a feeder right in front of our window. They love it!

They have a bright coral version that fades to a bright peach on the light end. I bought it a couple weeks ago, it was such a hard decision between the two colors!

I saw this beautiful ombre blush compact somewhere on line, and thought how gorgeous it is. And it looks fabulous on you, a lovely glow. If I wasn’t dying for a heart-shaped TF blush for my heart collection, I’d be seriously considering this one

Pretty blush! I haven’t picked anything up from It Cosmetics yet, this might be a first. I’ll check it out the next time I visit Ulta

It shows up so well against your skin tone. It almost looks more peachy on your face than in the swatch. I also love their Ombre bronzers.

This wouldn’t work for me but it swatches beautifully. Looks like the perfect soft baby pink. Impressed that it swatched that intense!

That made me laugh and also made me think of Monty Python’s Holy Grail when the Prince keeps breaking into song (that certain, special, something…). 🙂

Congrats on the birds! I hope they mind their manners at sunrise and don’t decide to get to chirpy.
