El Hub and I got takeout Puerto Rican for dinner because I’d been craving good beans and rice, then came home and checked on our neighbor’s kitty cat and bunny. Yup, we’re on petsitter duty this weekend for their cute orange tabby and little white bunny, and that’s fun. After providing the entertainment for their evening, we rented a pretty good Western on iTunes called Slow West starring Michael Fassbender. Good movie, but not a lot of rainbows and kittens, if you know what I mean…
After that, it was off to bed for this gal!
I’m not sure yet what we’ll do today, but it feels like a good mall day to me. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something in the air. I feel the mall vibes… LOL!

My daughter is in cosmetology school and gets sad that she doesn’t have MAC products, so she’d love this card. I tell her not to feel down about not having high dollar items in the beginning, plus you need the high paying clients to justify using top shelf. 😀

Lipstick is my must have beauty product. When I was young, I was hit by a car and almost lost my lips and part of my face. Several plastic surgeries over the years have returned my face to normal. I celebrate my new lips every single day with glorious bright lipstick.

In 1st grade I got caught cheating spelling the word dinosaur. I thought the o and a should be switched! I don’t have trouble spelling this but it drives me nuts hearing: “a whole nother” instead of: “another whole.” As in “that’s another whole story to tell.”

Wow, if I could live 1,000 years I could accomplish so much and help so many people. Sure it would be horrible to see loved ones pass away, but there would be time to love new people. I would take that as long as it came with me being in reasonably good health (not 80 healthy years and 920 years in a nursing home!)

At the time, I was living in Toronto, Canada, and I met a man who lived in Vienna, Austria on Twitter. Many many @s and DMs later we got married in front of the LOVE statute in Philadelphia and are preparing to move to Hawaii where I will either continue being a lawyer, or my other job, makeup artist, and he will continue drumming professionally. Sometimes I just want to sit outdoors, getting some sunlight on my skin and some fresh air. We do have a small patio, but very little sunlight shines on it.

New shoes, The school Management I work for is very picky about shoe choices they don’t want us to show our toes.
Great and then is where the problem starts I am very short 1.47 wich makes me a small teacher.
I want some platform ballerinas, but I can’t find any. I found a kind of wedges ballerinas with a strap in front. But God they have given me blisters, any closed shoes I have had has given me blisters, flats, high heels all of them. Is horrible. Now I bought them a half size bigger not even then. I need the perfect shoes. Platform shoes where I can stand the whole day on them, but made from a conformable material that won’t give me any blisters and where I can look a bit trendy, I also live on an Island so boots are not an option. Is that soo much to ask? And here the choices are very limited.

I adopted a 15 month old pug over a year ago. He would wake up at the crack of dawn & nudge, lick, nibble me awake for a walk! I yearned for a day of ‘ sleep in’. I am a reeeeeeally late riser, working nights. Fast forward to now, over a year later, he has to be cajoled to get out of bed. He stretches, rolls over, wants a bunch of cuddling before he gets out of bed . Such a pugsy lazy bones in the morning! Pets & humans do become alike 🙂 gosh hope i dont start looking all wrinkled like him….

Hi Karen, glad to know someone else obsessed with exotic food! And, to be honest, this pelicular obsession takes me to the idea that, if a mysterious magician, one day gave me the opportunity to be a millionnaire or a deca-centenary ( is there even a word for that? ), I would without any doubt choose the first option in order to satisfy my love for exotic food, as well as my family’s! …Oh, and also, maybe a nice house seaside, but this is just a detail… 😉
For this reason I wouldn’t say I would choose money over life, but if life has to be partially uncontrollable, money can bring us at less a bit of joy and satisfaction about it!

I’d rather win a million for sure. I can never spell apparently correctly no matter how many times I use it (constantly) and no matter how many times my phone respelled it for me.
I’m currently obsessed with the idea of buying all the Wayne gods brushes as well as the tarte cheek swirl brush. Love my tarte brushes and the 4 goss’s I have!

Obviously lipstick – there is nothing more glamorous than to be able to casually take that red lipstick out of your purse that you just happened to forget there and transform your entire outfit on a spontaneous but romantic date. Shoes however have to be meticulously coordinated with the rest of the ensemble and let’s be honest: who carried a pair of hot pumps around on a day to day basis? 😀

Thank you for the generous giveaway Karen! Since I just bought the new Urban Decay Bittersweet Matte Lipstick, I could really go for a new pair of shoes. There is a pair of Toms that have been haunting me. A few years ago they had some blue suede ballet flats that I really wanted but never bought. I’m so mad at myself now that I can’t find them. I have long narrow feet. Size 10 with a B width, so it is hard for me to find shoes that fit.
It would be way way way too sad to outlive everyone I know so I would have to go with the million dollahs lol.

Definitely the million bucks! I plan to die before all my family because life would be awful without them – but the million bucks! Ah – I could pay off my daughter’s house and put away 100,000 each for my three grandkids for their futures (school, etc.) I would pay off my uncle’s house too – no more working two jobs for him! I would pay off my house, too – almost forgot, ha!Then I think I’d take us all on a fabulous vacation. Then I’d like to give about 50,000 to the ASPCA. That would leave me with maybe 200,000 – which I’d save. Money isn’t worth anything if it doesn’t do good things for others.
I would pick shoes over lipstick for now. Summer is coming to an end and I always start shoe shopping for fall around this time.

The new Neutrogena Hydro range. Last night I tried the awesome, yet a little creepy looking mask. After 15 minutes my skin felt soft, hydrated and refreshingly cool. After the mask comes off you simply massage the residue in!
