Unsung Makeup Heroes: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Loaded

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Loaded ($20)

The long-running Unsung Heroes series here on Makeup and Beauty Blog features some of our all-time favorite permanent collection products.

Today I’m wearing Loaded from Urban Decay. It’s one of their liners. It’s this really deep green that almost looks black when you put it on your lash lines, and that’s why I love it. It’s perfect for fall.

Fall always makes me think of dark greens and really rich jewel tones on the lash line.

I mean, I don’t even really try with Loaded. I just, like, sharpen it, run it across my upper and lower lash lines a few times, and then maybe I’ll smudge out the edges if I’m feeling ambitious, but that’s it.

I love the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils. They’re just so smooth and silky, and easy, because there’s no fallout drama (not like with the eyeshadows).

The only thing is…they dry quickly, so if you have any sort of smudgy agenda, you have to draw your line, then hurry up and blend out the edges with a finger or a brush or whatever, because once that line sets, that’s it. It’s too hard to blend out.

The 24/7s are my jam. UD always forever and Loaded is one of my favorites.

I’ve never noticed this shade, I like it! I usually try to have some shade of navy liner around (currently have a MAC one, used to have UD Sabbath) because it makes my eyes look more awake than black does for whatever reason, I wonder if this sort of green would do it too?

I like the color, it’s quite unique! And I like it when my liners dry and set fast, actually. Wearing Perversion today.

UD 24/7 liner pencils. They dry quickly. That’s what I love about them. Once they’re set, they’re set. Even on my hooded eyes that smudge everything. Also love the huge variety of colors they come in. I have four go to brands for liner; UD, Pixi by Petra, Chanel (the waterproof stylo yeux) and the old MUFE Aqua Liner pencils (don’t like the new reformulation).
Hope you get to see a movie with El Hubs. Just got back from north of Sacramento. Went to check on the mare and hang out with her for a while. She’s getting pudgy on the 24/7, all you can eat, irrigated pasture. It’s so cool to see her so chill and happy.

I love my 24/7 liners! So userfriendly and great pigment. They’ve been my go-to for years.

I love the 24/7 liners but, I think your lipstick is stealing the show in this pic. 🙂 And your bangs!
