Super obsessed with Curel Hydra Therapy!

So remember when I talked about going to Redding and how the dry air up there always wreaks havoc on my skin? And I talked about Curel Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer?

I’ve been using it religiously now for a few weeks, and dang if it isn’t a minor miracle. I use it every night in the shower — actually, while I’m still in the shower — and the way it works, how you don’t have to rinse it off or wait for it to dry, never gets old. I put it on while my skin is still wet after I turn off the water, then pat dry and hop out.

Call me easily amused (hello, easily amused!), 🙂 but this stuff is revolutionizing the way I moisturize.

Step 1: Pump a little into your palm…

Curel Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer has a proprietary water-activated Advanced Ceramide Complex that dives deep into your skin to moisturize and repair its moisture barrier. Just apply it to wet skin after you finish showering, then pat dry with a towel, and for best results, use it daily. It’s unscented and doesn’t feel greasy. Plus, it’s fun to use and incredibly moisturizing.

Seriously, what dry skin? My skin is so much smoother and softer since I started using it regularly. The scary, scaly bits that had been bugging me on my arms and legs, especially when I went to the gym, are gone. I don’t even think the dry air up in Redding would give this grief.

Step 2: Rub on wet skin

There was a while there when I didn’t feel like wearing cropped workout pants because those scaly spots looked super obvs, but they’re gone now.

Step 3: Towel dry

Best of all, because of how you don’t have to rinse it off, using this saves me a few precious minutes at night. And I mean PRECIOUS, because dude, nobody ever tells you that babies are a lot of work.

Well…they do, but you know what I mean.

At night I really like to to read to Connor for a few minutes before her last feeding, then help her brush her teeth and put her to bed, and on the nights when I also go to my workout class, the only time I have to myself is after everything else gets done. Then it’s my shower time, which is usually around 9, and I don’t want to spend a single minute grappling with a greasy lotion that takes forever and a day to massage into my skin.

Step 4: Enjoy your soft, smooth skin!

When I moisturize with Curel Hydra Therapy Wet Skin after my shower, I’m in and out, which means maybe being able to crawl my way through a one-hour TV show or movie, and I’ll take every extra minute I can get to relax and recharge, you know?

Shower essentials

Curel Hydra Therapy is hands down my favorite body lotion right now, and it’s affordable. It’s about $10 for a big 12-oz. bottle, and you can find it everywhere. If you’re looking for a lotion to change your life, head to your nearest drugstore ASAP.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Anything that helps dry skin and saves time is worth checking out. I am heading to Florida in a few weeks to visit the folks and celebrate the holiday. I need something to help my dry skin. I am also thinking of purchasing the Nars Pure Radiant tinted moisturizer since it has a high SPF and I don’t feel like shlepping a bottle of foundation. Saturday is Charity day at my local Lord & Taylor. Got it on my list, just need to find my shade.

    Be well.

      Hi Jane,

How fun! How long will you guys be in Florida? I’ll have to live vicariously through you when you go to the beach.

HI Karen! I got a sample of this in the mail… and I cannot wait until I get paid…. I have a 4$ coupon and I’m going to use it. This stuff is the BOMB.COM!!!!!!! I love how it saves me time, and it doesn’t have a scent to it, it moisturized so well (even my surgery scars that itch like mad), it isn’t greasy – hydrates wonderfully – and I’m like done meow!!!! So glad you reviewed this!!!

I’ve used up my sample, dang it. I really compare this with my Aveeno and I think it’s even better. LOVE IT!!!! Oh I finally got Mac Brun and Cork!! Because of you!!!

    Gina and Gracie….

      Hi Gina!

It’s always nice to hear from you (and Gracie kitty, of course). So glad to hear you love this lotion as much as I do. I think it’s so effective and purr-fectly priced. Interesting that you should ask about the surgery scars, because I’ve used it on my C-section scar and yea, it does help reduce the itching!

And yay yay yay for the coupon! 🙂

As for your MAC things, I used Brun today. I hope that you like both of those shades; they’re my go-to’s.

      Have a great day!
