Golden Glitter Glistens in the New It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush in Sweet Cheeks

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush in Sweet Cheeks ($24)

I love my pores. They’re a part of who I am and, ya know, they do all the hard work that pores do (like housing hair follicles).

That said, I really don’t need to be reminded of their existence all day long, so I’d much rather wear a line of blushes called “Bye Bye Pores” than “Hi Hi Pores!”

Sweet Cheeks is the newest shade in the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush fam, and it comes out this fall.

It Cosmetics has some fantastic permanent collection blush lines, including my faves, the Confidence In Your Glow Blushing Bronzers (a.k.a the Neapolitan ice cream ones) and the CC+ Radiance Ombre Blushes, which are SO GREAT. They’re easy to blend, long lasting and look incredibly natural.

Sweet Cheeks is a super sheer peach powder blush bursting with golden glitter. This was my first time using the Bye Bye Pores line, and all I have to say is WOW! This is a blush? Really…? Because it’s almost a highlighter. The glitter bits are big enough to clearly see on my cheeks.

And it’s called Bye Bye Pores. Hmm…

Hey, Sweet Cheeks!

Despite the fact that it blends just as easily and lasts just as long as the other It Cosmetics blushes I’ve worn, I have mixed feelings about it… Thankfully, the glitter doesn’t seem to emphasize my pores, but it doesn’t make ’em say, “Bye, bye!” either. My pores look exactly the same size when I wear it.

I like Bye Bye Pores Blush in Sweet Cheeks, but can’t say I love it — certainly not as much as CC+ Blush in Coral Flush and Je Ne Sais Quoi. But if you have to have ALL ‘ZE GLITTERZ, it’s $24 and available now on the IT Cosmetics website (also coming soon to Ulta stores this fall.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Hello! I thought the same thing from the pics. A little frosty, which is usually more in the Hello Pores range. The color is pretty, though.

Color is very pretty and something I would normally pick up, but….I tested it out in stores and it felt very chalky and dry. Didn’t seem to cover up my pores either. Disappointed 🙁

I have the original Bye Bye Pores blush in Naturally Pretty, which I love, and I have it in Je Ne Sais Quoi (in the Bye Bye formula, not the CC+ formula) waiting in an Ulta box in my mailroom back home! I’m glad I didn’t spring for Sweet Cheeks as well, I like glitter in my blushes! The Naturally Pretty really is lovely on my skin, it kind of sinks in and looks like a stain, almost.

Love your blush and lipstick Karen!! Are you by chance wearing MAC Runway Hit, on your lips? I tried it on the other day in the MAC store and loved it. It looks a lot like what you’re wearing. Just curious!!
