I’m finally on the mend! Yesterday and today were the first days I’ve felt human again. I’m trying not too overextend myself even though I really want to get stuff done.

Those darned soda cans! I left a Coke can in Jen’s car when we were in college and it exploded in the heat! Those things are dangerous. I hope the cleanup wasn’t too stressful for ya.

Good Morning! I hope you’ll be feeling better today. 🙂 I think they must put stain guard on the ceiling fabric because it wasn’t too bad. We just used some upholstery cleaner until it started to freeze on the cap. I think we’ll get it spotless when it warms up a bit. Thankfully! That’s true – I never even thought about the heat making them explode. At least no one was in the car when it happened – I think it would have been quite startling. HAHA!

Haha, I did kind of tease there didn’t I? Frederic Malle Portrait of A Lady. A rather dirty, patchouli, unisex rose scent. It’s too nuclear for the summer time for me, so I’ll use the body butter instead because it’s more subtle. I have a hoodie that permanently smells like this fragrance, that’s how long lasting it is.
It’s nice that El Hub got the day off. Dear Husband had a morning meeting and then he went to his work space to work the rest of the day. I should see him in time to watch the Warriors game.

I love brushes and sponges, but I’ll be honest–I’ve been using my fingers for some products. And that’s big coming from me. I limit it to certain face products like Glossier Skin Tint (if I’m in a pinch) or their Cloud Paints. Generally, I do use brushes. Now if I’d only get back into a good brush washing routine again!

Somewhere in between. I find that nails that go a little bit past my fingertips are just easier for me to paint.

That’s tough. If I had all the money in the world, I’d go with department store…even though there are some gems at the drugstore!

I don’t use either nearly enough. ??♀️ Lotion is quick and easy, but body cream gets the job done. These scales need all the help they can get!

I’m sorry you caught a terrible flu, Karen! Here in Wisconsinland, Bree got spayed last week and she’s been recovering at home. My family decided to contact the SPCA to see if we can’t get some justice for her as well.

Short. Lemme just say horses and long nails don’t mix. I have ripped off my own gel manicures (which, by the way, ouch) because my nails were prohibiting me from putting on my horse’s saddle. If I can’t put on my horse’s tack, there is an issue. I am not that prissy. ?

Department. I have very fussy skin.

Pluck. Trust me, do not wax my hair. The only thing that happens is you wax off my skin. Owwwwie.

I would try very hard to save it but I know the minute I saw something Bree really needed (I’m trying to find a Velcro-free winter coat for her that snaps on the side), it’d be gone. So, spend it.
