The Urban Decay X Kristen Leanne Collection Vice Lipsticks in Bun Bun, Cloud9 and Spellbound

One of the three Vice Lipsticks in the UD X Kristen Leanne collection is called Bun Bun (it’s the neutral one), named after Kristen’s bunny. ?

Isn’t that cute? Anyone who names a lipstick after their beloved fur-baby is A-OK in my book.

Kristen loves color, cruelty-free makeup and tattoos — all fab fits for UD — and there are three $17 matte lippies in her new UD collaboration (available meow). Bun Bun is the neutral, Cloud9 is the beautiful bright purple, and Spellbound is the deep burgundy.

I keep déjà vu-ing because of how similar these look to some of my MAC standbys, like Bun Bun, which reminds me of MAC Whirl. Cloud9 could almost pass for MAC Heroine, and Spellbound looks a lot like MAC Instigator.

But even though the colors aren’t revolutionary, the lipsticks themselves are creamy and comfortable for mattes. They don’t highlight my flakes, and they don’t dry out my lips.

They also come in LE packaging with a magenta cap, and when you open them up, you see a heart ? with Kristen’s name on it.

Very cute!

Karen

I’m so out of it, I have no clue who Kristen Leanne is. None of these are colors that I would wear, but I do like them on you.

      Hi Tatiana,

They’re more like fall shades to me, but I’ll still rock ’em here and there. She also has a crazy gray gloss which I’d never wear… I kinda wish the gray on the lips trend would go already!

Anywho, I hope you had nice weather down there and got to enjoy the day. Did you do anything fun? I took Connor for a long walk outside, and we played with three dogs (!) and chatted up all the neighbors. One of the guys who lives on our street is an audiophile and has an extensive record collection, and he’s always buying gear and testing it in his garage. He played Rihanna today and so we also had an impromptu dance party in the middle of the street. Well Connor and I did, ha!

Yeah, they do look very autumn like.
Your day sounds really nice. Wish I could have seen the dance party! Records! My daughter makes fun of us because we still have CDs and few cassette tapes. She thinks Pandora is the way to go. I just wonder which way music will go from here. I already own the White Album in three different forms.
It was sunny down this way. Not too warm, but dry. Went exploring on the Stanford campus. Found a nice roof top garden on one of the new buildings. Stopped at Nordie’s on the way home and swatched the spring palette from Chanel and the Violet Argente palette from Tom Ford. The colors in TF aren’t going to work for me.

I love Cloud9, and I think it looks great on you. Everyone is raving about BunBun, and I got FOMO, so I went back and ordered it. lol Spellbound just looked too patchy in all the swatches I saw.

The packaging is so cute!!! Her palette was gorgeous too. Cloud9 looks so amazing on your complexion, such a fun color.

Out of these I don’t think I would wear anything other than BunBun, but despite the nice formula I don’t think I need any of these.

They all look good on you, of course. 🙂 I was scanning the other comments and, I’m sorry to tell you, but I think you may need to get a dog. HAHA! Connor has always seemed drawn to them, even when she was very little. I know Tabs likes to fly solo but he might be more tolerant of a puppy than a kitty. 🙂
