Does this happen to you? All the time?? If that’s the case, then hello! — welcome to my world. I try a new eyeshadow or lipstick or a different technique, and my makeup’s looking reasonably banging, but then I don’t really have any place fancy to go, so I end up chillin’ on the courch with a bag of TJ’s Mochi Rice Nuggets and watching My So-Called Life for the umpteenth time.
Sigh…
Oh, and by the way, it may be happening right now as I type this, ha ha ha!

I actually really love to do this! I really enjoy color and the creative aspect of makeup, so I often will put on makeup as I’m hanging out at home. It makes me happy.
I’m on Team Ewa! I enjoy makeup and put it on to please myself. It doesn’t matter whether I’m going out or staying in.
Hi!! Probably almost never. If anything I might have on lipstick I wanted to try with no other makeup. I’m in general more likely to not have any makeup on unless I’m actually going somewhere. I kind of have washing eye makeup off at night.
Hate not have
Lately, I haven’t been wearing a full face of makeup for anything, even going to work. It’s been so hot and humid out east, that anything I do put on doesn’t last. I am also running out of things and have not had a chance to replace them. I am waiting for $ to play with and for the Fall lines to come in. How’s Connor’s school time going?

Yup! That’s the story about me!
First, if you’re not doing it at home without rush, how on earth you’ll know that those eyeshadows you’ve never dared to try actually suit you well, or your technique with liquid eyeliner should be tuned up a bit/is not so bad as you thought??
All the innovations in makeup looks comes when I apply makeup lounging at home…
Second – I sometimes simply need to look good just for myself.
Oh, never – I don’t think I do a full face of makeup even when I should (special occasion, etc). Btw, I love your eyeshadow. I’m a sucker for red/orange. Oooh, remember when you did that rainbow look? I loved that. 🙂 I definitely appreciate color on other people.

I am a big fan of “makeup play”. I wear makeup for me so I love to play with my goodies, so I’m not a total hoarder. I like to experiment in the safety of my bathroom vs trying for an event.
While I don’t watch MSCL anymore I may be known to sit full smokey eye and watch various guilty pleasures. Speaking of which, have you watched To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before?

Back at the end of may, I had MAJOR surgery (it was 10 hours in the OR!!!) and im still in recovery, and am not allowed to work, or be in school!!!
I was really bummed about all of my scarring, and then i thought. what else to pick me back up and make me feel pretty again, than the thing that always makes me feel pretty!! putting on a full face of makeup!!!!
so every morning i put on a full face, and my home nurses always comment on my lipstick, or my eye shadow!! ahah!!
A lot! lol If I’m not sitting around the house, then I’m just sitting in the car chauffeuring kids to errands and appointments. I have fun putting on makeup, and find it relaxing, so it doesn’t matter whether I get to wear it in public every day.
I’m a very active retired teacher and Grinny to nine grandchildren. I put on full makeup everyday. It makes me feel put together and ready to face where ever life takes me.
