Hi, ladies! It was just too nice outside for me to sit in front of the computer today. It seems like I spend more time at my computer desk than I spend anyplace else!

What have you been up to today?

I’m working on a couple projects for you guys that I hope to have ready to share soon. One has to do with MAC Cosmetics, and the other has to do with finding makeup bargains, which is something I hold near and dear to my heart!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Wah~~ that pic reminds me of summer. You’re so lucky of having sunny days and gentle weather, Karen! 😀 My city is known for being an extremelly cold place. Now we’re having an “almost spring” here.:P
Can you see sharks in shark’s cove?

Seriously I have to say no fair on that. It’s been rainy over here. Friday was fine, and part of Saturday…and then the heavens opened up. LOL Anyway I’m glad you got to have a nice weekend. I’m super excited about the piece on finding makeup bargains!

When the weather’s fine like this you have got to get outside! We had a big BBQ in the park! A fine time and absolutely perfect weather! No bounce-house, but we set up a volleyball net and gave out big plastic balls as party gifts, so the kids had a fab time and the parents just chilled in the shade (aahhhhh)!

Looking forward to the upcoming posts! Have a great week! 😀

    Hi Diana,

Aloha! It’s great to meet another East bay girl (I grew up in Union City). 🙂

Congrats on almost being done with school. What are you studying?

I *love* the North Shore, too. If I could, today’s I’d go snorkeling at Shark’s Cove and then afterwards eat a yellow chicken curry bowl at Haliewa Eats for lunch.

    Hi Kate Brian (aka Kay-tee!),

You’d love Hawaii. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. I hope you get to visit someday!

LOL, and blog surfing is hard work! I agree. 🙂

    Hi Eru,

If I could I would send you some sunshine, girl! Spring will hopefully not be too far off for you…

I’ve never seen a shark in Shark’s Cove (knock on wood). I’ve seen lots of amazing fish though. The last time I was there swam with a huge school of fish! It was amazing. I also love swimming out far and deep, to where there are huge beds of coral and you barely see the bottom. It’s very beautiful.

How was your weekend? Did you have fun at your friend’s concert? What makeup did you wear?

    Karen,

Funny you mentioned Hawaii. I was searching for little trinkets or little charms of Hawaiian flipflops or Hisbiscus or sea turtles or anything like that. I just bought a car and would like to hang something there for a personal touch. Silly question i know but would you know of any places or sites in the Bay Area that carries these sorts of things?

    Hi Glosslizard,

SUNLIT PALM! Yay! What did you wear it with? I know you rock the greens, girlfriend…

My Monday was mellow too. I just got back from dance class and now I’m going to watch “The Hills” with Tabs.

I got a GWP eyeshadow duo from Clinique called Duo Deco, it’s a pale golden-ivory and a warm dark brown, both with a velvety, slightly pearly finish. They are a perfect complement to Sunlit Palm, although I find I have to cool down the whole combo by adding a bit of pink (Perky works well) at the inner corner. I also like adding a hint of Jungle at the outer corner to deepen the green color! Orient Sun on the cheeks and Gazelle on the lips! Perfect for this summery weather!

Mellow can be sooo good! Especially at the end of a Monday! I’m glad you have a TV buddy! 🙂

OMG, let’s talk about cat stalking. I just got back from Long’s and I bought him a litterbox and some Fresh Step.

There’s gotta be a hotline for this.
