These are great articles, but a few of them have some misinformation!! One (#4) said to add remover to thick polish! NO!! You should only use thinner! Not remover! They’re very different!

#17 said to throw out old polish, but OMG! DON’T! Polish lasts forever! There’s nothing organic in it, so it can’t “go bad”, and if it dries up, just add thinner and it’s as good as new!

Sorry! As a nail polish lover, it’s hard for me to hold back! LOL!!

And OMG Karen, you were so right! I bought that Sonya Kashuk lipgloss today (the one you reviewed, in the color “Beauty”) and it’s GORGEOUS! And silky! It’s like butter! LOVE IT!

      Hi Giselle,

The biggest difference for me is using a base coat. That’s usually enough to prevent the yellowing.

Some of my nails are yellowish inside the corners and the sides. I don’t know what it’s from but it could be from nail polish.

      Hi Sarahc,

Hmm, maybe try using a base coat. That should help prevent the yellowing.

Hey Karen, In your picture at the very top, it says your painted your nails with Essie’s Canyon Coral? That colour looks nothing like that beautiful vibrant orange on your nails! Canyon Coral is a pinkish polish when I looked it up on their site! 🙁

Could they have changed the name? Or did you post a mistake?

      Hi Allilanta,

Nope, I’m 100% sure that’s the color. The colors one websites are often not true to what you actually get in store.
