Sweet Cupcakes from San Francisco

March 24th, 2010 by Karen 19 Comments

Clockwise from left: key lime ginger, coconut, red velvet

Mini-cupcakes from a place called Sweet in San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood… They looked pretty and were certainly sweet (almost *too* sugary, even), but they weren’t heavy in the flavor department.

Aww, adorable! The “hippest” cupcake shop in my city is called Flirt!, and though their cupcakes aren’t always as cute as these (though some are cuter!), they’re always absolutely delish.

Key lime ginger, though. That sounds interesting…

It was… okay. I didn’t get enough lime flavor, and the frosting was bland.

Oh, my. This photo is lethal. Should I be glad or very sorry that we don’t have any cupcake shops in my country…

      LOL, you’re welcome!

Do they sell mini-cupcakes there? I swear those things are the best invention since sliced bread.
