Wednesday MAC Attack: MAC Fabulous Felines, More MAC Art Supplies Swatches, MAC Trip Compact Kits

March 31st, 2010 by Karen 49 Comments

We made it to the hump, babes! Honestly, sometimes I think for surviving half the workweek, we should all get an award — a golden statue or a trumpet salute would do nicely, yes?

One good thing so far about today: I finally got a chance to swatch more Pearlglide Liners from the MAC Art Supplies Collection (see more swatches here). Say g’mawning to Undercurrent, a shimmery green, and Almost Noir, a shimmery plum (each $15).

From left: Undercurrent, Almost Noir

They have the same creamy formula as the rest of the Pearlglide liners and boast plenty o’ glitter to spare. What do you think of these colors? I’m feeling ’em both. 🙂

And more travel exclusives…

Oh, just a wee bit of news on the MAC Travel Exclusive front — expect to see more MAC Trip this spring! 🙂

MAC just released three new Trip travel exclusive palettes called Compact Kits. Keep an eye out for these limited-edition eye and cheek palettes at select airports and duty-free stores.

MAC Trip Compact Kits Warm Eye Shadow Palette: Eyeshadows in Shroom, Bagatelle, Expensive Pink, Trax, Humid and Embark

MAC Trip Compact Kits Cool Eye Shadow Palette: Eyeshadows in Filament, Mink Pink, Flirty Number, Little Minx, Flashtrack and Carbon

MAC Trip Total Face Kit: Cream Color Base in Shell, Cream Color Base in Secret Ceremony, Lipgloss in Rose Hips, Lipgloss in Stripped, Iridescent Pressed Powder in Belightful

No word yet on prices, but I’m guessing they’ll be consistent with previous MAC Trip palettes at around $38 each.

I’m going to keep my fingers crossed and hope MAC sells these online soon, ’cause I really want that Total Face Kit.

Have a faboo Wednesday and keep trucking (*raises tea cup*).

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

ps – i loved the packaging of MAC to the beach, gotta get my paws on a couple of those too…

i wonder if they’ll ever bring back blue flame (veluxe pearl) one of these summers – i picked one up but forgot to buy a backup, and i’m ever so paranoid that i will run out…

Man, this Wednesday’s been rough for me (I think I’m coming down with a cold ;_;) but hopefully it’ll get better. I’m having lunch w/ a friend and getting a new haircut tomorrow and then getting taken out to dinner early for my bday on Friday by another friend… so I just have to get through today really! Super excited because on Saturday SO and I are cleaning and baking for my birthday tea party on Sunday, and then on my actual birthday (Monday) he’s taking me to Neimans to haul Shu Uemura. 😀
