Yeah, my tummy just rumbled, but I can’t tell if I’m hungry for food or hungry for more makeup. Some days I swear I derive more sustenance from NARS and MAC (more In The Groove swatches coming soon) than I do from actual edibles, ha!
This afternoon I invited four tidbits from the nine-piece NARS Fall 2010 collection to play with me and the NARS Orgasm/Laguna Blush and Bronzing Duo (NOTE: all seasonal NARS products are rolled into their permanent collection). At the time I didn’t have dinner date makeup in mind, but El Hub just asked me to Thai…and he suggested I call this look my Dinner Date Face of the Night/Day. 🙂

For the eyes, I layered the shimmery gunmetal gray shadow from the Tzarine Duo on top of the Palladium Soft Touch Shadow Pencil and swept the shimmery beige shadow from Tzarine below my brow bone. Then, I lined my lash and waterlines with Coconut Grove Single Eyeshadow.
I patted a small amount of Strawberry Fields Lip Gloss on my kisser (because a little goes a long way) and swept good ol’ NARS Orgasm blush on the apples of my cheeks, contouring beneath them with the Laguna Bronzer part of the duo.
Time for din-din! 🙂
Interesting… There’s a hint of glitter on the eyes from the Palladium Shadow Pencil. That’s kinda cool.

I’m interested to see how this grey compares to Smoke&Diamonds – from the picture it looks like a cousin – maybe more of a cool base to it? oh well – can’t wait to see them in person! Love this look!

so pretty – i would have never thought to layer the gray on top of the teal pencil. I am loving this collection. Thankfully – I was not feeling the summer collection. Well except for the multiple pigments that I still need to buy!
Hey Karen:) I think you should totally do a look using mangrove and Daphne eyeshadow from the Nara collection. It looked so beautiful on your skin! I want to get the whole collection!!!

im thinking about nars blush . i like how orgasm looks , but i think some touch of pink would look better on me ( but not to bright , becouse i am kinda pale ) . suggests anyone ?
