The Beauty of Disneyland’s Fortuosity Shop

August 20th, 2010 by Karen 15 Comments

Anaheim’s Disneyland theme park is beautiful in more ways than one. Sure, it’s a colorful feast for the eyes, but it’s also quite literally beauty-full, bursting with Disney-themed jewelry, clothing, makeup and art.

The upcoming MAC Venomous Villains collection is the latest in a long line of historic Disney beauty collaborations, many of which are available for purchase in the park.

Girlfriend, they don’t call it The Magic Kingdom for nothin’. Mickey Mouse

If you find yourself strolling down Main Street, take a minute to check out the Fortuosity Shop (next to Carnation Cafe). It’s like a playground for beauty addicts, with a slew of Disney-related products and accessories ranging from nail polishes to jewelry to designer bags.

Come on in!

Paul & Joe and OPI have your face, lips and nails covered with these cutie pie Alice in Wonderland goodies. Paul & Joe’s packaging always makes me weak in the knees… This tin comes with blotting papers and a clear lip conditioner.

If you’re a bag lady (like me), you might like these Mickey Mouse patterned purses by Dooney & Bourke…

Aren’t they cute? 🙂

Looking for something without the mouse silhouette? No need to explain. The store also carries non-Disney branded designer bags, like these few from Betsey Johnson and Steve Madden.

Wander farther into the store, past the purple curtains, to the Disney treasure room (where the jewelry lives).

I’ve always wanted one of these watches…

Oh, and if you aren’t planning a trip to Disneyland soon, no problem. You can still get your Disney beauty fix online. I’ve got my eye on one of those Dooney & Bourke bags. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

That pink Betsey bag is cute! I wonder why this passed me by when we did Disney! 😀

I love Disney. I think the Hubs steered me away from that shop so that I wont dawdle (thats what he says when I go to Target w/ him!) … 😛

I’m wondering how I missed this too…do they do phone orders?? I’m only half-joking! Then again if I had gone here on my trip two years ago, when I pretty much blew about $200 on Jack Skellington stuff, I would not have been able to cloes my suitcase… 🙂

I am a native Floridian and at the Downtown Disney shopping center that we have here in Orlando there is a store called TrenD, adn they sell things like that minus the makeup! I loveeee the Disney Couture line and they carry a lot of that there as well. Makes me want to go shopping!

Speaking of the D&B prints for Disney, have you seen the reallyyy super cute one with the doodles and castle! LOVE!! If you want to look it up the print is called “Disney Sketch Print.” Let me know what you think!

Ah! This post got me so excited! I’m leaving for Disney World in a few hours (going back home really since I’m from Orlando) and I cannot wait to go shopping there.. Got my eye on the D&B bags… and the nearby CCO 😉

I was JUST there! But I didn’t notice the polishes.. =( I liked the jewelry but everything I liked was way out of my budget! There was a bunch of Tarina Tarantino stuff I believe.. Hope you had loads of fun. =)

Ahhh! I want to go back to Disneyland 🙁 The last time I was there… I don’t even remember..
A lot has changed I guess. I wish they didn’t sell things that weren’t Disney-fied like the Steve Madden bags. I don’t get it??
