Ohhhhhh, I am such a sucker for plaid! I have to have those shadows (Enviably Fun and Golden Crown) just because they look so cool! The 6 Dashing Lassies are nice too. I would like to see a swatch of Style Clan, pretty please with sugar on top?! And I have Peach twist or I would get Triumphant Blush face kit. And the pearl glide liners are whispering to me……… Oh, I hate when I get so worked up about makeup! ;0)

      Hi Lisa S.,

Sure, I can do a swatch o’ Style Clan. 🙂

You must answer the call of the Pearl Glide Liners… they’re saying, “Lisa! Lisa, come play with us.” LOL

So glad to hear you like Blot. 🙂 It photographs *really* well. I usually do a 50/50 mix of Blot and Prep+Prime for FOTD’s and it works wonders in pics.

Blot pretty much rules. I’ve been using it for years and have actually lost count of how many pans I’ve gone through!

Did you know they make a loose version that’s available only at the pro stores? I haven’t tried it yet, but I bet it’s awesome.

            October 20th, 2010 at 3:25 pm

Yeah, they usually carry stuff you can’t find at the regular counter. I like shopping at the store in SF, because it’s so big and roomy and they let me swatch like a maniac, LOL!

How long have you been in London? Do you like it? I visited once in 2005 and thought it was pretty cool. 🙂

After what I spent on venomous villians I don’t know if I can justify more Mac to my bf, but the plaids are intriguing. I used to collect the holiday pallets every year until 4 years ago when I was actually good at saving money. The very first holiday edition I bought was from 2001 or 02, had 10 shadows, a full size shadow brush(not a mini or travel sized version) and was $24 I think. Still have it and still looks good.

I LOVE your title. too funny.

This collection is making me nuts.
I want to get just one thing, (because I went incredibly insane during VV).
I originally wanted a palette, the Reelers and Rockers, because I love metallics.
Then I go to the side of my brain that is drawn to browns, bronzes, etc. (the neutral palette). but I already have bronze and showstopper. BUT, I love having a palette with a whole look all together. BUT I have the Naked palette and a zillion neutrals, BUT I love neutrals….

THEN, I think about the play it cool palette, but I keep being disappointed with purples on my lids.

    OH, I need mental help.
    sigh.

and then we can go into a discussion as to why the other palettes have spent some play time in my “maybe” part of my brain. ugh.
