The Fun palette needs to be in my possession now! It’s been a while since I’ve been so excited for a palette! I’ve been lusting after UD’s Sephora exclusive shades, and I love that Fun has two of them.

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! Those are like my go-to UD colors. One summer I practically wore them both every day for an entire month. They both look great with 24/7 in Bourbon!

LOL I always thought they were beautiful, but never got around to picking them up. How did you wear them together, with Baked in the crease? I already have Bourbon, so thanks for the tip!

            February 9th, 2011 at 6:23 pm

I usually do Flipside on the lid with Baked in the crease and Bourbon on the lower lashline. Sometimes it’s just Flipside or Baked on the lid with Bourbon smudged along the upper lash lines. Or Flipside on the outer lid and Baked on the inner. As you can tell I really like this combo, LOL!

With a little Maui Wowie in the inner corners of the eyes…ahhhh so pretty. Any idea how long these will be around Karen? I’m a little stripped for cash right now but don’t want to miss out!

Which shadows have fallout issues? That’s my only hesitation when a new UD palette comes out. I’m the most interested in the feminine one since I think I’ll be able to wear it everyday, but love all three. Oh if only I needed more palettes. 😉 I’m loving wearing the Naked palette this week.

The ones with bigger glitter chunks are usually fallout central. In the Feminine Palette, that’s Midnight Cowboy.

      Hi Crystal C.,

I think they’re comparable, and especially great if you like a lot of shimmer. Some of the glittery colors, like Midnight Cowboy, have a LOT of fall out, which is something to keep in mind. But in general they blend well, have a very soft, almost creamy consistency and a ton of pigment!

All three palettes are beautiful – but I’m trying to limit my makeup purchase since Chanel has that Soulful Eyes quad coming up. Urban Decay stuff is nice and fun (despite the fallout). I love how UDPP clings on for dear life – especially with UD shadows. The only thing that makes me sad about Urban Decay is how difficult it is to obtain the Naked Palette from Scandinavia. The bf and I have been on the lookout for the Naked Palette on our trips abroad and even online – it is still impossible to get it.

To Crystal C:: I have and do own both UD shadows/pallettes and MAC. I love them both. Exteamly great quality from both. for Single shadows though, I would purchase MAC's at $12-14 a pop, while UD's are $17-20 ….eek. I only have UD pallettes, and the Naked is still my dream come true, lol.
