MAC Sketch Eyeshadow

April 25th, 2011 by Karen 18 Comments

I always want to call this one “MAC Sketchy” instead of Sketch ($14.50), LOL!

Do you ever wear this color? What are your favorite things to pair it with?

I love Sketch :D. I wear it on the top lid and wear Hepcat along my lower lashes for smokey eyes with a twist 🙂

Sketch is a beautiful color, but it is too warm for my skin tone.

I bought it about 3 months ago thinking I would wear it more often but I’ve only wore it 2 times. I wore it with mac copperplate and nars abyssinia.

    Hey Karen
I love sketchy sketch, it’s a very verstile shadow and love pairing with Expensive Pink, Coppering, Paradisco, Amber Lights, Mythology and also thinking of pairing it with Tempting may be… weird but sounds a nice combo.

I’ve worn sketch w/ all that glitters, paradisco, tweet me, twinks, patina, shale, star violet, vex, seedy pearl, ricepaper, cut to fit, and goldmine. it also plays well w/go, bamboo, coral crepe paint pot, and as well as pinks like da bling and sunset b for a sunset-y eye. i’ve even used it w/satellite dreams and sweet lust. is that of any help? =S

Nice shade! I like shade like this.

I will usually pair dark color like this with yellow of different tones, from true yellow to pale yellow, gold, champagne eyeshadow. or light tones of purples, lilacs, etc

I love Sketch and I usually pair it with Naked Lunch on the lid. I like the contrast!

I don’t have this color but I have one similar to it. ( Mark’s iMark eyeshadow in Plum Velvet) I feel like a color like this one goes well with either purples or browns. I haven’t really tried it with anything else but that’s been my experiance. Hey, it may be a cute/funky tutorial idea to pair this color w/ something unexpected. like ELECTRIC BLUE! lol (yeah, i like living life on the edge >>)

Don’t have it but I want it! I wonder if it would look okay with red hair and pale skin though?

I love Sketch! I use it over my BE Plum liner on my top lid along with All That Glitters. It also plays nicely with Remotely Grey (LE), Blackberry and Satin Taupe. No problems with vampire eyes if you keep it to the top lid and line eyes in purple, black or gray.

I use Sketch as a crease color over All that Glitters. Also on the outer corner smudged down over eyeliner on bottom lashes..(lightly)..Love Sketch with Satin Taupe also!

Deeep. Yep, I would wear this. It’d go great in the crease for a smoky look. I’d pair it with a lot of beige…

You could rock this! Maybe as a liner?

For whatever reason, I have several pans of sketch. For an everyday, go to basic eye….I use Yogurt on the lid, Quarry in the crease/contour, shroom on brow bone, and then shade with sketch. Use a bit on lower lash line as well. Like I said, basic go to eye!
