Kate Spade Sample Sale: Select Items Up to 75% Off

May 17th, 2011 by Karen 40 Comments

Just a quick heads up for all my fellow Kate Spade addicts: the brand’s currently hosting a kick @ss online sample sale with select handbags, clothing, jewelry and accessories up to 75% off.

Shipping on all orders is just $5, and all sales are final. The sale runs until 11:59pm PST on May 19, and quantities are limited, so if you see something you like you might want to snatch it up sooner than later. Also, you’ll have to enter your email address to gain access to the sale.

My birthday’s next month (shout out to all the Geminis!), so I’m thinking about treating myself to a birthday gift or two. 😉

A few items from the Kate Spade sample sale

Happy (deeply discounted) shopping!

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. A big thanks to EC over at Never Enough Nails for the heads up on the sale.

I love me some Kate Spade, but I don’t have the excuse of a birthday to splurge 🙁 Happy shopping!

      Hi Larie,

It still might be worth checking out. I saw a few pieces in the jewelry section for $20 — that’s a steal for KS!

Ooooh! 75% off! Time to buy myself a birthday present. Well, my birthday was in February, but it’s not my fault the sample sale is now, right? 🙂

I think I’m geting the Melinda bag in blue. What are you getting, Karen?

You’ve got great taste (I got the Melinda bag in white, LOL!). I also picked up the black Gold Coast Margot; love that the straps can be worn either double or cross body.

I’ve been hemming and hawing over the seahorse bracelet pictured above for the last three hours. We’ll see if I can hold out. 😀

Good choices! The white Melinda looked really pretty to me too, but I am such a spazz that I’d dirty it up in no time.

I am zero help in assisting people from refraining from buying stuff. As long as people’s finances are in order, I’m the little voice that goes “Psst! Buy it! It’s so pretty and it would look great on you! And it *is* your birthday . . . ” But I will say no more :).

Get yourself a birthday gift THREE! I would love to splurge on this sale, but alas, the vault is empty. I do need a new bag. I may go to Strawberry and check out their bags.

It’s been a while since I’ve splurged on a bag (my last one was $15 at Marshalls, LOL!), so I’m pretty stoked. What’s Strawberry?

Oh, sorry! It’s a women’s fashion store in NYC that sells cheaper clothes, jewelry, shoes, accessories, etc. Nothing in there is really designer or brand name. The items they sell are cute, and reasonably priced. A bag would be about $20-$35, depending on the bag.

Just bought the bag, a wallet, and the Intarsia Bow cardigan — wow, the booooring exec meeting I’m sitting through just got way more enjoyable. Also, thank God for smartphones :).

Not gonna lie — I am SO TEMPTED to go back and get more. YARGH!

The blue bag is gorgeous; I’ve seen it in person and it really pops. You’ll love the shape and the hardware.

Aww, that’s too bad. I’ve tried many of these pieces in person (I stalk the KS store near my house, LOL!) so I pretty much knew what I wanted. Is the selection still good?

Yes! Very much so. I took the plune and bought the Head in the sand Neda Wallet (yellow) 🙂 $225.00 to $89.00! I couldn’t resist the deal! LOL. It is a very nice ostrich-embossed leather. What did you get Karen? Anything good!?

Just what I need! A Kate Spade sale! I just bought a new wallet for myself and the giraffe pouch you posted a bit ago!

Karen, if you’re coming to Hawaii this summer, go to the Kate Spade store at Ala Moana! Loooots of Hawaii exclusives there! I picked up my new wallet there too!

      Hi Kelli,

I’m petite and I have thin arms, and when I tried that one on in the store I was able to wear it on one shoulder.

Woo hoo June birthdays unite!! Right away this morning when I got the email, I bought a purse (can’t think of the full name – Bexley something!) to match my chocolate Bexley Cyndy wallet that I bought from their last big sale. Had to snatch it up quick too cuz last time I missed out on some good stuff by waiting too long.

Ooh, Kate Spade dresses are so sweet! I love the ‘Kimberleigh’. By the way Karen, how do you like your KS iPhone case? I’ve been looking at it online for ages but all the (clumsy?) reviewers have said they’ve dropped their phones and cracked the corners on their cases.

Ok so my sweet sweet hubby got me the “daycation” giraffe bag and matching wallet for Mother’s day…. except I’m still waiting on Nordstrom’s painfully slow delivery. I might check out some of her earrings though 🙂 Sounds like an amazing sale.

In Singapore the brand name Kate Spade has been badly tarnished by a Member of Parliament. Damn. Seriously, if Kate Spade bothered, it should sue that MP.

Karen, I love you but I hate you for enticing me to this sale where I just bought Melinda in bone 🙂

I was saving up for a new bag from TJ Maxx so this is even better. Oh well, I will just have to pay hubby’s CC back in installments. 75% off was just too good to refuse. I almost got a necklace as well but managed to resist.

Oohhh Karen! You just got me in trouble girl…LOL. My husband just bought me the Nylon Griffen bag for our anniversary, except he doesn’t know it yet! It’s purrrrfffeect because I’m Vegan and love Kate Spade, but I opt for the leather free bags(which I love too!). Thanks for the sample sale notice! I think you deserve a percentage of all the sales due to the post on your blog! 🙂

Yah for June b-days. Darn the temptation. I only have a school tote bag.
This will be my early b-day treat. I needed a simple, everyday bag. I got the cheltenham aimee and lincoln road darla wallet. I wanted two more bags, but yeah lol.

I saw this at 11:40 PM on Thursday, went on over, and quickly bought a cute white slouchy bag with a zipper on top. I can’t remember it’s name, but it’s perfect for summer. I know white gets dirty so quickly, but it looks so much more relaxed than the black one. =P

For some odd reason I’ve wanted a Kate Spade bag since I was 14, but I never bought one til now (12 years later). I don’t even know why I wanted a Kate Spade bag at 14, LOL!
