sonia kashuk fall 2011

Here’s a shout-out to Sonia K.,
Her new Nail Colours, I just gotta say,
Might be some of my fave fall colors, haaay!

At $4.99, they don’t cost too much.
Two coats will do you if you’re in a rush.

The brush? So precise.
Formula? Smoove as ice.
The colors? Très glam, and ooh! — look at that price.

Sugar Rush, well, hey, yes, she’s a baby pink.
Chocoholic is a dark reddish brown (so distinct!).

Mauving on Up, I know I’ve seen before.
Blank Slate’s bluish gray, I totally adore.

Welcome (back) to the ’80s!

Have you heard about these boot covers? I was just thinking about how cold my shoes have been lately, haha! I think these are going to be my latest accessory obsession. I spotted this nifty pair by Hue in the new Nordstrom catalog…

Kinda funky, right? I don’t know how practical they are, and I can only imagine how gnarly they’d get in the rain, but I still think they’re cute. Of course, I’m sure Tabs and his stylist would veto them if I got a pair… Those two would have me wearing 5-inch Loubs 24/7 if they could.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I’ve never owned any boot covers, but it would be fun to try them out. I think they look really funky. 🙂

And…haha, your song made me smile, Karen!

yikes @ Sugar Rush…so sheer. Anywho…I got some leg warmers from last year that I wore over my booties. I probably could cut a hole and DIY me some boot covers. lol

I just love the way you mix your post style up sometimes :). Also, I’m over the moon that I actually prefer Blank Slate to Stormy Skies. Thanks Karen!

I own a jillion dark brown creme polishes, yet Chocoholic is calling out my name!

I’m an 80s baby, so those boot covers are okay with me!

Great rhyming! And those colors are pretty sweet too. 🙂 I’m totally running away from the boot covers – but I may or may not be running like I’m in Flashdance. 🙂
