Here are those swatches I mentioned I’d do. Not really up to a whole lot today. So far I went for a run, cleaned up a little, started reading a new book (All These Things I’ve Done, by Gabrielle Zevin), and now I’m craving pumpkin gelato and trying to think of a way to sweet talk El Hub into getting me some.

Wow, quite a swatching frenzy you were on there! Just got back from hitting up a 20% off sale at Big Lots and taking advantage of some Extra Bucks at CVS. All stocked up on necessities now.
Nice! What did you get?
At Big Lots I mostly got stuff for the house (cleaning stuff, paper goods), but I also picked up a box of Christmas cards. Yes, I know it’s way early but they have a nice selection now and with the discount I had to go for it.
At CVS I picked up a couple of new items from Salma Hayek’s Nuance line. They are these three in one eye wands, with a cream shadow, a highlighting stick and a automatic pencil liner all in one wand. So handy! I’m trying out the pewter/silver one today. We’ll see how well it wears throughout the day.

Today I took advantage of the beautiful weather by playing a bit of tennis. Otherwise, not a very exciting Sunday (catching up on work..).

ooo! The liner is pretty, but bare escentuals is just not good makeup for traveling! I have so many eye shadows and extra foundations that sit in a box in my closet now because I travel so much for work. I may buy some of their new duos and quads though!

I’m really grumpy about it getting remade, to tell you the truth. It didn’t need to be re-done! Did you hear they are now also remaking Scarface? I’ve also heard rumors about Back to the Future getting remade. Sacrilege!
i am not sure i want to commit to a bunch of loose eyeshadows but those swatches are tempting! i only have 3 BE/BM eyeshadows and while i love them, they dont get much use!
speaking of pumpkin gelato, i had some yesterday at a quaint little coffee shop while waiting for the hubs. yum!
How was your gelato? Mine was really delish… I went a little crazy and got an extra scoop of caramel pecan too. Whoops! Now I need to run it off. 🙂

i did. both friday night and saturday very early morning. it wasnt that bad. 🙂 im just glad i was done by the time we were ready to leave the house (finally, we stayed in saturday because it was raining a lot!)….
