LOL! Maybe then I wouldn’t look so cray-cray.

Because I couldn’t wait to try on the gorgeous new MAC Magnetic Nude collection (coming out December 26), I’m wearing two different eye looks at the moment, my cheeks don’t match, and my lip color is split down the middle.

I look like the Joker’s evil sister. 🙂

And that’s why I didn’t make an appearance in this video.

Here’s a tabletop look at the new Magnetic Nude collection (and a super quick look at the new Huggable Lipcolours and two new MAC False Lashes).

  • 26 pieces, limited edition
  • Available at MAC counters, stores and online December 26 through February 6, 2014; launches internationally some time in January
  • Lots of metallics and nudes, also a strong rose gold vibe
  • In the release, skin is radiant, eyes are metallic and smokey, and cheeks and lips are subtle and sexy

    Thank you for posting these swatches! I couldn’t wait to see some good ones of the MSFs! I thought I wanted all 3 but I think I’m going to stick with Magnetic Appeal and maybe get Pleasure Model and Autoerotique since my bf will be buying lol

    I’m liking some of those Huggables. That orangey one (Cherry Glaze?) especially. MAC is like the makeup mafia to me, just when I think I’m out, it pulls me back in!

        Truly. I started looking at some high-end brands (BTW I ordered TF’s Sable Smoke as part of my first high-end haul) and kept being turned off or simply not impressed (eg a sheer lipstick for $35.US, really?) and found myself going back to MAC swatches!

      I’ve had good luck with the Fluidlines as bases as long as I blend out the edges immediately. They dry pretty fast! Which one do you like?

    The Fluidline in It’s Physical is calling my name! I don’t actually own any fluidlines, but the brown with the purple shimmer is just fab.

        I was actually at UO today and saw it! He definitely approves! I didn’t pick that up, but I got a book for my parents called “I could pee on this and other poems by cats.” I’d already purchased “I could chew on this and other poems by dogs,” so it’ll be a great pair for Christmas! I’ve done barely any shopping because of exams and being broke, gotta get going on that…

        It was a pretty good weekend, but extremely snowy! We were supposed to go up north for my mom’s graduation from her grad program, but snow kept that from happening. At least there was a digital live feed, so I got to watch anyway!

        I think we got 6-8 inches over the weekend – buh! I don’t like it!

    I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with frosty, metallic finishes (I feel like it’s so easy to go wrong T__T) but there are so many things here that are so pretty…so shiny… *drools*

    I was wondering the same thing. When I saw these fluid lines, it made me think of sigmas eyeshadow bases. Can we use these as ES Bases?

    Already making my list! I love love love MAC’s after-Christmas release. It always seems to be trendy neutrals that are easy to wear. This release is no exception. I can’t do purple lipstick, but I can wear practically everything in this entire collection!

    Wow – these are just beautiful !!! I’ve always loved metallics and rose gold shades so it’s just perfect…

    Wondering, though, if it’s possible to overdo it with the colors ? Maybe dark liner and a red or plum lip will break it up ? I already have a rose gold watch, earrings, necklace, and a new Rebecca Minkoff tote/purse (also metallic rose gold !) so I think after this collection I’m going to be all done buying so it doesn’t get to be ridiculous or in the “too much !” category.

    Any advice is appreciated, as always 🙂

    Thanks for the video and swatches! I can see this collection getting me in a whole lot of trouble. I’m really digging the cooler toned shadows, light pink blush, and a couple other items. I’ll just have to try to catch it when it goes online because I’m a week overdue with my pregnancy so there’s no way I’ll be going to a counter for swatches!

    I just went to the MAC store today and impulsively bought Amorous Alloy and the two darker fluidlines. Then I came here because I knew you’d have all the swatches lol! Now I want the blush in Autoerotique and the lipstick in Morning Rose!!

    I think you got the names on the eyeshadow swatches mixed up. Isn’t amorous alloy the last shade?
