The Perk-Up Artist Loves Giving Ladies a Lift: Benefit’s New Perk-Up Artist Complexion Corrector Palette Neutralizes, Covers and Conceals

“Hey, baby, can I perk you up?”

No, seriously…I’m pretty sure I met that dude on the cover of Benefit’s new pocket-sized $30 Perk-Up Artist complexion corrector palette at a bar in San Francisco’s Financial District some years back.

Boom-chika-wah-wah!

This was pre-El Hub, so I may or may not have allowed him to buy me a mojito, LOL!

Pink hearts, Edwardian Script, a cheesy dude with aviator glasses and little plastic covers to protect the three creamy face perfecting products from drying out? Benefit always does packaging right.

So what do you get in this travel-friendly palette? Basically, Benefit’s Lemon Aid, Boi-ing and Eye Bright, each in pot form.

There’s Correct, a creamy yellow for neutralizing redness; Cover, a medium beige concealer to mask under-eye circles; and Brighten, a pale pink eye brightener to give tired eyes a lift (just apply in the inner corners of your eyes).

Could be a nice little addition to a travel makeup bag…

Look for it at Benefit counters and boutiques next month (but if you can’t wait that long, it’s posted up on benefitcosmetics.com now).

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. Almost Friday! And it couldn’t come soon enough.

I hope you had a good day today. Mine was aw-ite. I just hopped off the treadmill, and now I’m so ravenous that I could literally eat my arm.

Okay, figuratively. I could figuratively eat my arm. 🙂

I spotted these at my local Sephora the other day! Seems like a great palette but that concealer seems a little too light for darker skin tones. But the packaging is adorable as always!

Love Benefits adorable little kits. I’ll probably pass on this one though–I rarely have use concealer, so 3 correctors are a bit too much hassle for me

I LOVE your blog! and the photos as well. Benefit is great for their little sets and kits – at least we can get them in the UK! (altough no Sephora – BOO!)

This kit’s so NEAT! I’d love to check it out if the SA can actually tell me where to use what!

The Brighten shade would be good for the outer corners as well. I don’t do this trick often, but highlighting both the inner and outer corners really lifts the eyes!

      Hi Sunny,

You use the yellow shade on the lids, the pink in the inner corners and beneath the brows and the concealer underneath the eyes. 🙂 HTH!

I hate the box. Sorry. But I really do. lol 🙂 I’m interested in what’s in it though, but I’m just too freaked out by that picture.

I adore Benefit kits and this one is no exception. I love the packaging and product sizes. I don’t use concealer thought so I probably won’t pick this one up.

      Hi Emily,

Yeah, they do cute kits! What are your fave Benefit products? I love the box blushes and the creaseless cream shadows.

I really think that I dated this guy’s brother in high school. Wow, is he sketchy, or what? Anyway, I enjoy Benefit’s sassy packaging. I especially love their Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP on my NW15 skin. My eyes are hazel-brown and my hair is blonde so the color works great as a base or alone.

That guy is so creepy! I don’t know if I’d want to carry him around with me or staring at me from my vanity, haha! I’ll have to pass on this one. 😛

is there only one shade for the box? i’ve been eyeing out for good concealers and this seems interesting so i went to the benefit website but it seems like there is only one shade for the box? (i.e. only one tone of yellow? what if i need lighter yellow color?)
