Buuuut, I’m also a California weather wuss, so there’s that. The thermostat, which isn’t working because our gas is offline, says 63 degrees.

About Last Night…which is the name of the movie El Hub and I saw last night, LOL! We thought it was great. Pretty raunchy at times (it’s Rated R), but it was one of the better rom-coms I’ve seen in a while. All of the characters are well written, and I cracked up laughing a few times. That Kevin Hart guy is a hoot.
Nothing on my agenda for today other than tracking down a better space heater. The one we picked up from Target last night just ain’t gettin’ it done.

False lashes on the bottom seem so annoying! I don’t like the look of super long lashes on the bottom anyways so I’d rather not deal with the hassle.
i never wear false eyelashes on my bottom lashes, i can barely put them on my top lashes.
I have nearly four feet of hair (trying to pull a Crystal Gail for the hell of it) so I only wash mine twice a week. I have a crazy multi step process for it. On non wash days I use a little lush dry shampoo. Also using a boar bristle brush at night and braiding help to keep it manageable.

My favorite romantic comedy is Leap Year. It’s very cliche and well the end is quite predictable but it’s so light and lovely and fun. Amy Adams and Matthew Goode, the lead actors, have the best on screen chemistry plus it is shot in Ireland so you also get these amazing scenarios and landscapes. Not recommended for El Hub though lol
Sounds like a cute rom-com! I wash my hair about 3 times a week. My hair cooperates much better for braids, ponytails, and buns when it’s either wet or a little dirty. If my hair is a little on the dirty/greasy side, but I don’t have a lot of time to stand in the shower and wash it, I will use a good dry shampoo. I like Tresemme, they make one for color treated hair that works pretty well.

As far as washing my hair goes I usually only skip once a week when I know I’m not going anywhere the next day because it is so flat and unmanageable if I don’t wash it everyday! It’s so annoying though because it makes my hair so dry! Oh well!
No pop tarts – too unhealthy. I have super greasy hair and I work out daily so if I don’t wash it daily, it is disgusting. I might don a hat and skip a day every now and then, but trust me, it’s really gross.

Although I never cared for the taste of Wild Berry poptarts, their vibrant purple and teal swirled design paves the most nostalgic route to my childhood. S’mores flavor is my perennial favorite as it adequately captures the taste of the real thing if placed in the toaster oven for 5 minutes. Funny how this is a poll option, Karen, cause poptarts have been everywhere lately. On TV, in print ads… a sweet renaissance indeed.

I actually never wear false eyelashes… I tried them twice- they felt weird and didn’t do much for the length or volume (probably bought ones that looked too “natural”). I wouldn’t mind trying them again, but with more extravagant ones like the laser-cut paperself eyelashes in crazy shapes!
Favorite romantic comedy…it’s a tie between Crazy Stupid Love and Love Actually!!

How often do you wash your hair (because I haven’t washed mine since Tuesday!)? Every day. I know it’s drying, but I rather take my chances. I feel so uncomfortable if I don’t.

I have to wash my hair every day and if not, it gets really gross and oily.
I’m not a huge “dangly” earring kinda gal. I do wear them on occasion, but most of the time I like to just keep it simple with a [fake] diamond stud.
Do you like chandelier earrings or studs? I have 2 holes in one ear…3 in the other. I always wear a stud in the cartilage and in the second hole but given the choice for the first hole I would always prefer chandelier over stud.
Do you ever wear false lashes on your bottom lashes? – I’ve never worn fake lashes….I’m too afraid I might rip my lashes out. I know people who have worn them with no problems but I really don’t need more than a coat or 2 of mascara to look like I’m wearing fake lashes. I can see why someone might wear them on their top lashes but I can’t really visualize anything that doesn’t seem ridiculous about wearing false bottom lashes…maybe I’m just picturing it wrong but in my head it looks clown-like.
I like the strawberry pop tarts without the frosting! I recently had to buy a space heater too, and the first two I got at Target stopped working 5 minutes after using them. I went to the Target website to read the reviews, and turns out that the heaters we had bought had a common problem of shutting off when they got hot and that you had to wait over a half hour before you could use it again. Someone even posted a picture on their review of one that had caught on fire! We returned it and bought a different one at Best Buy!

Hmm…where to begin? As far as my hair goes, I have to wash it every day because my scalp has been giving me issues lately.
Pop Tarts? Toss up between Strawberry and Brown Sugar/Cinnamon. Breakfast is my favorite so I’m gonna go with BIG. (Yay for pancakes!)
Favorite rom-com? There are so many that I love. Kate & Leopold, 27 Dresses, The Back-Up Plan, Maid In Manhattan,Hitch,Pretty Woman…(I may have a bit of a rom-com “problem”…)
I think the last time I used fake lashes was for one of my Halloween costumes a gazillion years ago.

I swear I don’t live under a rock but I have never tried a Pop-Tart. I am not even sure what it is exactly… Woops!
A great way to wash hair without hot running water is with ConvaTec Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam (the stuff hospitals and hospices use for bed baths — you can order it from Amazon, some Walgreens carry it) and some warm water on a washcloth. And the space heaters that really warm up a room for us here are the ones that look like rolling old-fashioned radiators. Nice radiant heat, no hot air blowing around.

I usually wash my hair every 3-4 days depending on my workout schedule and what I can get away with. I’ve noticed that since I’ve cut back on washing my hair, it feels and looks so much healthier and I don’t even produce as much oil on my scalp. It’s definitely worth a try, just gotta fight through the initial oil overproduction.
I love an occasional Poptart, but they have a a lot of calories, considering. I think that the unfrosted, which I prefer, have more calories than the frosted ones!! I kind of stopped getting them after my kids stopped liking them. Then…. They made the peanut butter ones. OMG…for peanut butter lovers, lightly toasted with a little bit of butter on top. Worth the calories.

My favorite rom com of all time is Love Actually! Star studded casts (actors who can ACTUALLY act and aren’t just big names) and I love the intertwining story lines.

I wear my diamond stud earrings – constantly. They are the first earrings that I leave in for everything – sleep, shower. The only time they come out is when I take them to the jeweler for a 6-month checkup to make sure all the prongs are still sturdy. It’s insane and I have such a hard time wanting to wear anything else.
I have never tried false eyelashes on the bottom row, but I am intrigued and would like to do it someday.

I’ve never tried on fake bottom lashes before, and I guess that has never occurred to me. Instead of using fake lashes, I use GrandeLash to help grow my natural lashes longer.

My favorite pop tart was a flavor they discontinued called Chocolate Vanilla Creme. I loved them. So I just googled it and there was a cult following for this flavor, and they brought it back for a limited release to celebrate Pop Tart’s 50th birthday!

I had no idea sephora sold ten over ten nail polishes. i went to their salon when i lived in nyc. excellent customer service but when i found out i had to air dry my nails, i was pissed. i never went back. have you ever been to dashing diva?

Five years ago before becoming a stay home mom, I had way more time for movies so I’ve not seen a full grown up movie since then. So my fav romantic comedy is from years ago- sixteen candles! Yep caught it ten years ago on television and its been my all one fav since!

OH MAN, rom-coms! My favorites are pretty classic. I love Bridget Jones, because I can totally relate to her foot-in-mouth/general spaz problems. I also totally adore When Harry Met Sally. That movie makes me laugh every time (so much sass!), and the whole best-friends-falling-in-love thing just GETS me. Plus, the little love stories told between scenes are adorable! As for Pop-Tarts, I’d probably have to go with good ol’ cherry or strawberry. My grandpa used to give us “special treats” of plain Pop-Tarts every once in a while when we were kids; they didn’t have frosting, but we dug their starchiness anyway. The memories!

I do love the new OPI Brazil collection. I’ve got Toucan Do It If You Try on my toes and Kiss Me I’m Brazilian on my fingers. The bright colors are a nice contrast to all of that snow we’ve been getting.
In high school I used to go all out with the jewelry-long chandelier earrings and huge necklaces, but now that I’m almost out of college, I can’t be bothered and like the look of diamond studs and a small pendant necklace. That’s it.

Alright alright alright — so currently, I’m in the midst of watching this new Korean drama that’s airing right now.
It’s called “Emergency Couple” and well, my suitemate (love you, Tia!) and I are on episode 3… it’s pretty good. Slow start, but getting better. Heard it’s AMAZING.
Anyways, that’s my recommendation. Cute, quirky, humorous, romantic, medicine, crying… all in one!
