Please Leave a Message After the Beep for Deborah Lippmann Sheer Lipstick in Call Me Maybe

December 7th, 2013 by Karen 19 Comments

“Hey, I just met you… This is crazy!”

Kid you not, you’ll be singing the minute you slick Deborah Lippmann’s Sheer Lipstick in Call Me Maybe ($22) on your lips.

I had an immediate physical reaction to this juicy, sheer reddish coral — a sudden need to bust out in song.

And you know what’s crazy? I keep wanting to punctuate this lipstick’s name. Doesn’t “Call Me. Maybe?” sound clearer and more concise? Methinks it does…

Haha! 🙂

You can find it now online and at Nordstrom stores.

It would be a nice alternative to Christmas reds.

Pretty! Looks like a great daytime lipstick. Not too OTT, but still enough to make you look fab.

The name is so cute lol. It’s a bit too sheer for my liking but it’s a beautiful color on you though Karen!

I really like your eye makeup here! I’ve been spending my time trying to finally get the hang of eyeliner (procrastinating from studying for finals here)– I just love that razor thin line you’re sporting!

    Hi Karen,

I’ve been hoping to see reviews of Deborah Lippmann’s new lip line, so it was a treat to read your post!

Call Me Maybe looks gorgeous on your skintone — and it seems like a color that would wear well into the coming seasons 🙂

Great lip colour. I love the eyeliner. I’ll eventually get comfortable with eyiner application.

It looks amazing on you! Do you think it would also work on a very pale cool-toned complexion?

Super pretty! I wore a bright pink Lancome Gloss in Love over the weekend and everyone I talked to either commented on it (oooh, lipstick, huh?) or looked at my lips the entire time. I decided that meant I needed to wear lip color more often so it wouldn’t be such a shock to my friends/acquaintances! 🙂
