I’m Resorting to Tropical Distractions With the Four New Essie Resort 2014 Collection Nail Polishes

The new Essie Resort 2014 collection and I have plans for a swatch date this morning/afternoon.

Perhaps over coffee. 🙂

Mmm…coffee.

And brunch.

Nothin’ like a good cup of coffee while you paint your paws, am I right? (Or a cup of coffee pretty much any time, for that matter. I WISH I were one of those people who could have coffee with dinner, but I can’t… It keeps me up.)

I always look forward to Essie’s resort collections, which come out between their winter and spring releases, even though it seems kind of strange to think of resorts this time of year.

Wait — maybe not. I think the idea is that this is when a lot of folks want to go on a warm vacation (myself included).

Oh, to be an eccentric billionaire…

DUDE, I’d charter a fleet of airliners to fly us off to someplace fabulous and tropical this weekend!!

Wish we were here…

this is an interesting range of colours for spring. the dark and nude colours are not the usual spring choice

    Hi Karen,

I love the color palette of this collection! I think coconuts and cocktails looks particularly pretty with its warm shimmer!

Those are some seriously gorgeous colors. I’m so ready for a spring walk on the beach. Sans tourists, please 🙂

These colors are beautiful- especially the orange one but I love the nude one too, especially for the name- Coctails& Coconuts? Best name ever!

Well, I have the eccentric down. Now I just need to play the lottery. A lot. 🙂

I thought Cocktails & Coconuts was a little blah in the bottle, but your swatch has me intrigued. Can’t wait to see your painted paws!

Very unusual mix of colours for a resort collection, and a far cry from Essie’s Resort 2013! However, I’m digging it…all pretty colours and I think they all complement each other in a unique way.
