The NARS And God Created the Woman Eye Kit Is Back…Even Though It Never Really Disappeared

Hey, wait a minute.

If you’re thinking that you’ve seen this $59 three-piece kit before, that’s because you may have.

Kind of.

It was released as a Sephora exclusive last year (it’s actually still available online at sephora.com), except that here it looks like the eyeshadows are playing musical chairs… They’ve been placed in slightly different positions in the palette.

The palette includes…

  • Alhambra Duo Eyeshadow (right side), a metallic rose mist
  • Bellissima Duo Eyeshadow (right side), a matte grayish brown
  • Kalahari Duo Eyeshadow (left side), a shimmering gold
  • Galapagos Single Eyeshadow, a bitter chocolate infused with gold
  • Coconut Grove Single Eyeshadow, a deep taupe brown infused with gold
  • Night Clubbing Single Eyeshadow, a black with golden pearl

NARS carried over the mini Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base Primer (yay!) from the previous incarnation of the kit but swapped out the flat eyeshadow brush for a travel-sized Wide Contour Brush #43.

Lots of classic NARS eyeshadows in this one… If I were building my dream NARS palette, I’d include most of these shades.

The $59 NARS And God Created Woman Eye Kit arrives August 1 at NARS Boutiques, narscosmetics.com and at department store and specialty store NARS counters.

Ugh I already own Naked1 and a few other singles that contain warm, neutral shades. But everytime I see this palette, I just really want it. I don’t know why. I think it’s the packaging and Kalahari.

I always travel with this palette. Even so, it’s still going strong. Strange that they’ve shuffled the shadows and brought it out again when it’s been available all along?

I like that the colours aren’t too warm or too cool! This looks like the perfect conference travel palette – takes you from giving your presentation to the fancy dinner in the evening, all in one compact palette! 😀

I’ve noticed this palette being available on the Sephora website, but I haven’t been 100% sold yet. Pretty, but I feel like I already have these colors from other palettes. Hmmmm :/

I adore this palette! Although I admittedly prefer the original brush that came with it (old No. 3 that’s now No. 40).

It is a classic palette. I already have NARS Galapagos and love it but I would buy this set for the other NARS classics at a better deal than buying them all separately. NARS shadows are also very pigmented so even if the shadows are smaller they won’t wear out quickly. So many palettes out there that look good!

I can’t believe that was a year ago – time is flying! And you can never have too much Pro Prime, so nice work, NARS. 🙂

Ooh likey this one. The Narsissist palette didn’t look that appealing to me – I’ll definitely get much more use out of this one! Decent price too! I have a neutral Pupa Milano Palette that I absolutely love and is great for travel but this one seems right up there too!

Very pretty — but I have enough palettes at the moment, having purchased two of the new Chanel quads recently!

That’s a very nice palette. But I already have similar shades, so I’ll pass.

I have been wanting this palette since it first came out but I could never allow myself to buy it since it’s pretty pricey. Maybe I’ll put it on my Christmas list lol

I have all of these shades in my stash already but I still like this palette! It’s just something about having essential colors like these all together that just makes it tempting.
