Victory is ours! Power to the scrunchie!

theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer (7)

I’ve been on the hunt for a matte golden brown bronzer without any orange undertones because I like to switch up my bronzer game every once in a while, and I finally found one — Bahama Mama Bronzer by theBalm ($20, available now at theBalm counters and online. ).

The golden brown color reminds me of a big pan of MAC Soba Eyeshadow, but with a matte finish instead of a sheen. Good for contouring cheeks, or as an eyeshadow, or for adding overall warmth to the face.

Even though I feel like the gal on the packaging is throwing me shade (“Karen, really? Another golden brown smokey eye look?”), I kind of love her side eye, haha!

This would actually be such a good brown for the eyes! 🙂

Hands down, Bahama’s products packaging is the best! It looks like a great contour color.

Wow it’s dark! It would make my skin look muddy.

I just purchased bahama mama from amazon for $12.40.
also wanted to change from my summer bronzer Nars casino.
love it! looks great with my Nars tinted moisturizer in groenland i use bronzer all over for warmth then hot mama for alittle glow sometimes not enough color for my portugese light olive skin tone.

This is definitely too dark for me to wear on my face but I would definitely try it on the eyes! I really like that it doesn’t have a lot of orange tones, though, makes it more wearable for those who don’t want to look orange!

Congrats on the non-orangey find! The side-eye makes me laugh, too. It definitely has a “how long do I need to hold this ridiculous pose?” vibe. 🙂

That is too dark for me to try I think but I love that it’s a brown brown instead of a red brown!

This is way too dark for me. But I love the packaging.

This looks like it may actually work for brown gals. I may have to check this out soon!

Is this bronzer more on the cooler toned side or warm? I just ordered it on Amazon for 12.46!
