The $59 Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip Set Gives Lips All the Pigment They Can Take

Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip Set
Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip Set, $59

Whenever I go shopping at Sephora, there’s a rule I steadfastly adhere to. I tell myself that I can only walk out of the store with what I’m able to carry in my two hands.

No baskets, ever, because the minute a basket gets up in the mix, my credit card starts throbbing with a white hot heat.

Buuuut, you know what they say: where there’s a will, there’s a way. 🙂

With products like the new Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip Ultimate Lip Sampler Set ($59), I’m able to maximize my self-imposed system of budgetary beauty tyranny. #imjustsayin

Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip Set

The glorious new holiday kit includes 17 (!) sample-sized lip products from 14 makeup brands.

KA-BOOM!

That’s a ton of variety. What’s more, the pieces span a wide range of finishes, textures and coverage levels.

Sephora sorted the products by color family — nudes, berries, pinks and reds — which gives the kit a cohesiveness you don’t always find in limited edition sets.

I’m stoked that so many of my favorite brands are represented (like Laura Mercier, Too Faced, Benefit and Hourglass), and I’m also looking forward to playing with some things I haven’t tried, like Kat Von D’s Liquid Lipstick and Stila’s Vinyl Lip Gloss.

And, hello! — how adorable is this Bite Beauty lipstick bullet?

I LOVE lip products. I’ve always wanted to try some of those brands such as the Kat Von D liquid lipstick and OCC. I do really love the Bite lipsticks. I seem to find small ones in the bins while you are waiting in line.

I often end up dying to buy one of these sets. But when I get the store something clicks in my mind, I eye up the package, and settle on the two products I really want. Then I go buy full-sizes. I don’t think I’ve bought a Sephora Favorites set other than fragrance – which is always a good deal because of the certificate. And my nose gets time to adjust to each fragrance before settling on the full size.

I bought this kit last year and absolutely ADORED it! I tried so many of my lemmings. However last year’s kit had more full sized offerings (pro) but also wasn’t really color coordinated like these (con)! I will be buying this year’s kit as well. Maybe if I’m strict with myself I might even gift one to a friend/family. (Yea right!!!!)

I bought last year’s version, and I have to say I’m not as impressed with this year’s. Last year, we had four full-sized products from bareMinerals, Smashbox, OCC, and Too Faced, as well as some fairly deluxe samples from other brands. That set was so popular precisely because it was really good value for the money, and I don’t appreciate Sephora making the set more skimpy this year. Also, so many of the samples are repeats from last year! That’s just disappointing because the other reason to buy the set, other than value for money, is a chance to try lots of different things you wouldn’t normally purchase or redeem with a points’ perk. I realize Sephora is just trying to sell more sets by including really popular lipsticks from last year (like Icon), but I think it makes the whole thing less fun, IMHO.

Lip products are my weakness – so tempted by this set! Especially by the four on the right in your first swatch pic.

Bought this a while ago and it’s taking me a while to try them all. LOVE the set though! Liked the Benefit balm way more than expected and bought a full size. Rocked the Buxom lipstick today and love it too. Only dislike is the Stila. That sucker is soooo sticky! Does not mix with SF winds and long hair under any circumstance.

The Too Faced lipstick also gives me way more lip lines and cracks than I ever knew I had. 🙁 Mini sizes are so purse friendly and I’m too product ADD to get through full sizes!

Sometimes I’m glad we don’t get stuff like this around here, otherwise I’d be SO terribly broke! I can’t say no to minis! I’m sure this is some kind of disorder 🙂

Sadly, in Spain Sephora doesn’t have sets like this. 🙁

This set has been sitting in my cart forever. Idk why I didn’t take the plunge with my last 2 orders lol. I hope it doesn’t sell out before I can get my hands on it!

Wow – that’s a lot of lip variety. It’s hard to go wrong with that set! I can see at least 6 things I’d like to try (as I slowly back away from the screen). 🙂

OHMEHGAWD! it’s a good thing that 40% of those lippies are warm toned or I would have just spent $60 I don’t have!

I reviewed this set on my blog and I’m OBSESSED!! To the point where if I see someone even glance at this in Sephora I’ll tell them how great it is.

I’m a lip product addict er collector and I love anything mini. If I can try 17 different lip products for $65, that’s amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone!!

This set really looks like a lot of fun — it’s competing for a place on my wish list for the VIB sale! One thing that confuses me, it says that the Fresh Sugar lippie is in Berry, but the one in your box is Rose. Since I already have Berry, I would rather have a chance to try Rose, I wonder if that’s what’s really in all the sets. Flush, Palomino, Menace, Black Dahlia, Red Essence, Red Amour, and Icon all look seriously beautiful to me — I would especially love to try them all! It would also be cool to see if I can get Outlaw to work with my cool undertones.
