9 Out of 10 Reindeer Agree: The $39 Benefit Pretty Parfait Holiday Set Is Cute

Guess who’s already started holiday shopping?

No, not Tabs… He always waits till the last minute.

This girl! This girl has already started. Because I absolutely refuse to be running around at the last minute a la the proverbial headless chicken this year, so I’m trying to get as much as I can done before Thanksgiving.

I started by going to Costco last night and picking up some cute gift tags and wrapping paper, but I’m kind of regretting not also grabbing a set of holiday gift bags, because how the heck am I supposed to wrap this Pretty Parfait makeup set by Benefit?

It’s so cute! — but also kind of awkwardly shaped.

Hmm… Now that I think about it, the reusable tin is probably cute enough to stand on its own sans gift wrapping. Maybe I’ll just stick a bow on it and call it a day. Ho-ho-ho, yo! 🙂

Every year, I like to get one or two “just in case” beauty gifts like this one, which I keep under the tree, just in case I need to get someone a last-minute present.

The $39 limited edition set, which is available now online and at Benefit counters and stores, includes a full-size tube of They’re Real Mascara, a full-size Stay Don’t Stray Eyeshadow Primer in Light/Medium, a full-size Gimme Brow in Light/Medium and a deluxe sample-size (bigger than a standard sampler, but smaller than a regular full size) POREfessional face primer.

Cute, yah?

Yes, very cute! Full of products I would like to try myself, plus I have tried the mascara before and liked it! Also makes me wish I had more friends nearby who were into makeup at least a little – this would be a good gift to give.

Sticking bows on things is my favorite method of gift wrapping! 😀

Really cute set! I’m not too into Benefit products at the moment, but if I was, this would be the perfect gift! I like that 75% of it is full size, makes for a much better deal!

I wish this set came with darker options for the primer and brow gel. It would so be worth it!

      Simple and effective!

Um, so, I’m finally caught up with the latest ep of The Walking Dead. Have you watched the newest one with Beth? I need to talk about Carol!

Yes! I finally watched it last night. I think Carol and Darryl learned their lesson from Terminus and have been watching/planning instead of trusting. Definitely a good move. They probably grabbed Noah as he rounded the corner and got the scoop on how things work at the Hospital. Now Carol is going in to break Beth out. Well, hopefully! And it’s nice that her arrival saved Beth from having to shiv some humans. I’m sure she would have felt bad about that, afterward! What did you think??

I hope you weren’t eating while you were watching it. I have to remember to NOT have food around when that show is on. 🙁 This season has been really gory.

So, Carol. For a second I thought it might be random kidnapping, but I really don’t see her character getting herself in that sort of situation. I hope that it’s part of a bigger plan… FREE BETH!

Do you watch The Talking Dead? If not, you have to start!

I hear you. And I agree that eating and watching is a bad idea. It’s been a gory season so far.

Agreed on Carol. I think the writers put the idea of them being separated in our heads in the previous ep, when Darryl appears to come back to the church without Carol. Like, maybe they were split up and Carol got into trouble. But I have a hard time seeing that, too. I think they have a plan. 🙂

I don’t watch Talking but have heard that I should. I’ll have to check it out On Demand. Oh, and how bummed is Beth going to be when she finds out Maggie has gone with the Big Liar? grrrr.

      LOL, no. That’s mine. 🙂

How are you and Tulip doing today? Good I hope! Tabs is grumpy because he hasn’t spent enough time outside. Daylight savings is messing with his schedule.

We are doing pretty good. Tulip doesn’t like getting up in the morning now. She just wants me to stay home and cuddle with her.

Hopefully Tabs will get use to the time change. Daylight savings time messes my schedule up more than Tulips.

Why have I never thought of a “just in case” gift?! That is brilliant. I am totally doing that this shopping season.

I saw this product in store a few days ago and I really, really wanted it, but I also really, really wanted some other stuff, so maybe next time I’ll get this… for myself 🙂

      Hi Jenny,

They are really handy to keep around. I usually keep a small pile of them underneath the tree because you never know!

      Hi Noor,

You might want to call your nearby Benefit counter. They’ll be able to tell you if they carry it. 🙂
